Agreed. Littrell and staff need to change the culture on the team. Players need to be either all-in or they're out. That was a big deal under Fedora and it seems like Seth is instilling that here too. Go back and look at the interview with Wheeler yesterday. She asks him about goals and he responds with his sack goals and then you can see him catch himself and then say "Well the team is more important than my individual goals". Seth expects players to give up themselves for the good of the team and if you don't your teammates will know about it. I am excited to see how spring practice goes and how it changes from TD and Mac.

All of the talk we are hearing from Littrell and Harrell recently leads me to believe we are going to run an offense that is MUCH closer to the Leach Air Raid(pass, pass, pass some more) than it is to Fedora's version of the spread(balanced attack). We need Wilson, Ivery, Smith, etc work on their receiving this spring/summer if they want to see the field. We are going to try to run as many plays as we can, as fast as we can.

You referring to the Sidney Graham story from 1967 or the Willie Davis account from 1968. Anyway, came across a Mean Joe Greene story from his time here about spraining his ankle. Seems more legend than reality but what a story: There’s the time Greene sprained his ankle during his junior season, forcing him to wear a plaster boot and tote crutches around campus. One problem: There was a big party happening, and he wanted to be free of any boot-and-crutch impediments. Joe Greene as a college football player at North Texas. (University of North Texas) So he went into his shower, soaked the plaster, got out of the shower, reached into a drawer, pulled out a fork — not a knife, a fork — and cut off the cast. Problem solved; party, here I come.

Is anyone really surprised at this. We have had one winning season since 2004. ONE. That is pathetic and nothing will change regarding our perception until that changes. We have to accept the fact that until we start winning consistently, we are irrelevant to media outside of DFW. How does everyone on here feel about Eastern Michigan's program? That's how people outside of Denton feel about us. Sad but true. Fix this thing Seth!!!!!!!!

We are in a Dead Period(letters, emails, calls) from Feb 1 - Feb 4. This is followed by a Quiet Period(official visits, unofficial visits, letters, emails, calls. No off campus contact) from Feb 5 - April 14.

The biggest knock was lining up on shotgun in obvious short yardage situations and goal line.- 24 replies

Wasn't in the tweet. It was in the post. Wow. Big props to this kid. He's a lifelong OU fan. Probably dreamed a thousand times about playing for them and he still honors his commitment to UNT. I'm sure playing time came into the equation but this shows two things. He's a man of his word and he is a good friend to Pirtle and didn't want to leave him hanging. A PWO to OU is a big deal so it had to be hard to pass up. Welcome to the family Mason.

Say what? Is that an autocorrect error? OU?

Jameel Moore fax has been received. Great to get one from a CUSA foe.

Really excited about Nic Smith. The kid knows how to score. I expect he will see the field next year.

MGB: Augie DeBiase talks about his plans

He's rolling the dice for sure. The payoff could be a stellar season followed by an FBS offer closer to home. The downside could be no offers at all. I wish him luck. -

Looks like Hamilton will make his decision during an announcement at his high school on Wednesday according to his uncle on Twitter. @mr_ben84. He asked a Lufkin reporter about Corrigan's schedule next season. The reporter responded that he will find out on Wednesday when he goes to the high school. mr_ben84 responded that "oh ok you will be there for my nephew @heavy_dreams_55 announcement." The wait continues. -

He might have seen UNT as his only option and decided to roll the dice that a prep school season will get him looks by bigger schools in 2017. -

Looks like Fine might be it for 2016. We really need to be working '17 QBs now. We need to cultivate the relationships because if not, then Fine will be looked upon as a RS Freshman.
