  1. My old high school, Midland Greenwood (3A) is now in a 4 team district. Guess that means that even if they go 0-10 on the year, they will still go to the playoffs (the four best teams in each district go to the playoffs)! I think there are 3 other districts like that out in West Texas. At least they aren't in a district with Presidio anymore. Driving 4.5 hours for a district game sucked!
  2. I don't know, but imagine needing to go to the bathroom while waiting for all 30K people to get set and in place. In my infinite boredom here at work (yes, on a Saturday ) I researched the photographer (Andrew Mole) and found out that he did 8 photographs like this (Liberty Bell, Eagle (I think), portrait of Woodrow Wilson, etc.) during the 2 years after WW1. I think it would be interesting to see all 8 of them.
  3. Not UNT related, but its awesome none the less. The formation is made up of 30,000 U.S. soldiers and taken right after WW1 ended. Enjoy! http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/edph/hob_1987.1100.478.htm
  4. So (getting back to the point of my question ), do you think this rule is going to eventually shake up the conference alignments because of a few schools being unable to meet these requirements, or will these schools just be penaltilized with sanctions?
  5. So what happens if a school, such as Rice, who is now on probation, doesn't average over 15K the next year? I know they go on probation, but is there ever a point that is reached in which schools are forced out of D1-A football? I'm not too up to date on the rules.
  6. Myself and 5 others should be able to make it
  7. What exactly was the penalty? No out of conference games? Shows how much I pay attention to Pig XII b-ball
  8. BS/MS in Accounting Dec. '03 Been working at KPMG for almost two years. Passed the CPA 6 months ago but have been dragging my feet to get all the paper work in, so it ain't official yet Who knows...someday I may just quit my job and go to mechanic school to become a grease monkey. Would it bring you extra comfort to know that your mechanic is a CPA?!?!
  9. I completely agree with you Shane...any modern diesel engine (built within last ten years) should run on biodiesel without any extra conversion. I'd definitely be in the market for a 4cyl diesel (make mine a Jeep Wrangler). Diesel engines get much better milage also.
  10. I'm ranked number 1!!! Eat that suckas!!!!!!
  11. ...in a small rubber thong!!!!!!! I'm in too.
  12. I cannot be there until 11:30 because of work as well. See yall then!
  13. That's just too easy!!!
  14. Looks like they had a pretty decent turnout given the time it was held
  15. The G35 is pretty much a Z with makeup on That Camaro is pretty sweet too! So many great cars to own...so little money
  16. I'm still in for 4 cheesecakes.
  17. Uhh...the 350 starts at 26,500. The 50k that was stated in the interview was just an inaccurately rounded number. Mine was 34k because it has all the bells and whistles but it has the exact same engine as the base model. If I were to pay 50k on a sports car, it would definitely be a new Corvette Z06. I believe its approx. 400hp and, best of all, its not a Ford Bottom line, though, is that any of those three are a much better deal than the 60-100k Mercedes, Audis, and Beemers on the road today.
  18. Nothing against Lambo and Ferraris, but the guy does have great taste in cars. P.S. I drive a blue one, so I might be a little biased. Heck, I'd probably let him take it out for a quick spin if he knows how to drive a stick
  19. I agree...but I can't say that I haven't put a friend in the trunk of my old car when there wasn't enough room But don't worry...he was an adult and made the decision himself Ahhh, I sure do miss those good old college days.
  20. That's pretty funny in my book. If anyone ever makes a shirt out of it, count me in for one
  21. Anyone know if you have to pay extra to play online? Hopefully the PS2 lag issue was an isolated incident or that it has been fix for '06
  22. Whoops! Didn't know about the Gamecube. Why did they cut it?
  23. Just curious Do any of yall play online? How much does it cost? (I have a PS2) This is my first time to really get into this game, but once I hone my skills, I think it'd be fun to take on some of you guys online
  24. If it's subsidized (by the gov. I assume), aren't we paying for it out of our taxes? I personally can't wait for the day when cleaner, US produced fuels (biodiesel and ethanol) are used more than the foreign oil we depend on now. However, past history tells me that oil companies will do just about anything (mostly heavy lobbying) to keep this from happening anytime soon. Oh, well...guess that's just the way it is now. Time to go home from work now (in my gas guzzler )
  25. I attended in '98 and just remember a couple of spirit related activities that were not hyped up very much. I still enjoyed it though...lots of eye candy in tight-fitting wrappers, if ya know what I mean Anyways, I have heard that the Eagle Camp grows more popular every year. Here are the approx. attendance numbers that I recollect. 2002: 25 2003: 150 2004: ??? 2005: I have heard that they might be pushing 500 this year Again, this was all hearsay. If someone has more reliable info, please correct me.
