Here...I'll save everyone the pain of responding back and forth and having to read it. So here's how it ends: FFR: Barack HUSSEIN Obama hates America and kicks puppies with his Jihadist buddies CBL: McCain lets oil execs perform sexual favors on him in exchange for keeping gas prices high. Flyer: I'm independent so I don't really care who wins as long as the hook me up with more oil...I need it, baby! SUMG: If those Dems win, be ready to bow to Allah. Emmitt: If those Repubs win, Iraq will become our 51st state. Bowler: Liberals wanna tax you, take your land, kiss your women, and sissify your children. SE-66: Conservatives want to take us back to the "good ol' days" of the 1820's when whitey ruled and the women knew to keep their mouth shut. Plumm: Hippies piss me off! BeanCounter: Neo-cons are doodie heads! Quoner: Did someone mention sexual favors? Did that about cover it? Apologies to anyone I left out on both sides. I'm going to bed now to get rid of this tired head I've acquired.

OK...I'm bored, so what the heck! '08 Suzuki SX4 Crossover My main driver. Getting 29-31 consistently. Preface that with the fact that I only go over 65 if I'm late to something important or on long road trips. Great car that doesn't get enough credit. '07 Jeep Wrangler X Gets 17 in town (the wife mostly drives it)...I can squeeze 22 out of it on the highway. With this one, I almost never take it above 55. Its a jeep! I wasn't built for speed! Gotten me through a couple heavy snowstorms/blizzards. '04 Nissan 350Z Touring Who cares what the milage is...only drive it once every couple of weeks or so. Sometimes the wife takes off with it...she's sneaky like that. I cruise around in all three of these blasting some DMB.........braw.

Talked to a friend who said he was in the know last night and this is apparently how the online dynasty works: Each person selects a team (we'll refer to them as human teams) and if two of those teams meet on the schedule, obviously they'll play each other. If a human team is scheduled to play a non-participant team (computer team), that person can play the computer or one of the other participants in the online dynasty can chose to play as that computer team for the one game only. Therefore, it would probably be best for us to select a conference and then each person select a team from that conference so that we could maximize the play time between human teams. You can then play as many as 60 seasons where participants compete against each other in recruiting and such. That is my understanding of it so far...anyone else have any info or corrections to this?

I propose we ban the use of North Texas and say that every member pick their next favorite Non-BCS team. Mine would be Houston cause my dad went there, but I could live with CSU or Wyoming (they're within 2 hours of my house). This way would not show favor to one person and would avoid the anguish of most of us having to play against and beat our alma mater/favorite team. What do yall think?

From yyz28: Just my 2 cents: While I lean toward Screaming Eagle's view that drilling is a very shortsided solution, I think the only way the crisis is going to be addressed is through a compromise that will allow some drilling (conservatives would like this...as a liberal, I'd rather see offshore drilling than ANWR) but also set extra incentives to getting the alternative energy sources up to speed in a faster manner (liberals would like this). It wouldn't make anyone totally happy, but it would set into motion each of the short and long term solutions to the problem. Now that that's decided, can we all just gather around the campfire, roast marshmallows, and sing kum-ba-yah?

Amen to that! Still yearning for FB to start, though -
I experienced a couple games like that at Tech back in '97 and '99 (is that right?). Only it was 50K fans...and I avoided heavy celebration until I got back to my car for safety's sake.
