Well put...I've had the same line of thought lately. Regardless of how good or bad the Obama administration may end up being, he's been the best thing that's happened for conservatives since Reagan.

No harm, no foul... I hear ya on the communication problems on forums. I hate talking politics on forums (would rather discuss in person...but since I'm in CO...) which is why most of the time I post (lame) jokes and sarcastic comments. Lack of time and laziness usually prevents me from posting more than 60 words at a time.

Don't be afraid EE...Franken or his team did not recount any ballots. The MN board of elections did one recount which was required by MN law because of how close the original election results were. During the recount, it looks like both sides appealed to the courts to have some ballots included/excluded. An old article from CNN, but it goes into a bit of detail about the ongoing recount at that time As far as your brilliant determination that Franken will serve one term because he's an idiot...the man graduated from Harvard cum laude with a BA in political science (and for the record, I don't think that Bush (Yale grad) was an idiot either, unlike other lefts on this board may think...I just strongly disagree with the decisions he made). That "argument" doesn't hold water in my book.

Hey, I wasn't calling you old...just stating I was too young. Let's just say I wasn't any part of the 70's. The professor in that class (can't remember his name, but was one of the coolest professors I've ever had) had us listen to a couple songs on the album and he made the comment that the sounds that Wonder put in the album (synthesizers) were several years ahead of their time.

I hadn't realized my picture had changed back to it...I need to rotate in a new album cover. It certainly is a great album. The album was way before "my time". Interestingly enough, I learned about the album in the Pop Music and American Culture class at NT back around 2001 (loved that class!). I went out and bought the album the same week.

Maybe Quoner can provide some answers for this guy.
