Army of Dad's attempt to place this into a nice little black & white box: FAIL To those that have the option to pay for the fire subscription service (i.e. those outside the city limits), it is a privatized fire service.

Personally, I would LOVE this!!! CSU, Wyo, and Air Force are all a 2 hour or less drive from my house. If we are so lucky as to have it happen, I'll be more than happy to host a tailgate or two a year.

How much did the WAC have a hand in building up BSU? My thought is not much if any. The success that Boise (and Hawaii, Nevada, and Fresno to a lesser extent) has had is due to years of them winning the games they needed to win. Even with Idaho's recent relative success, did the WAC hire their coach four years ago?

Sounds alot like our reasoning for not going to the WAC.

That's right...I now remember hearing a live spot at the Union a couple years back.

As I sit here streaming the BAD Radio and the Hardline broadcast from "the bullyvard", this thought crossed my mind: Could we get either or both shows to broadcast from our new stadium next year? I'm thinking it would probably work the best if they did it when we had a Tuesday or Thursday night game so that they could interact with the tailgater. Would this be pretty doable? I guess I'm just sick of hearing Ticket live spots from SMU events (football, basketball, and athletic banquet...I know I've heard at least 3 over the past couple of years). I'm guessing this would require some initiative from the NT Athletic Marketing peeps (a miracle?). If you read this, GreenGuyBass...any insight you could give?

Pretty cool...thanks for the info. I have to disagree with you FLF...I've always thought wind farms looked cool. I think it will look cool to have 3 wind turbines towering over the stadium...a very unique feature of our stadium (even more so than the awesome "wings" in the endzone ).

Guess who's number 1 in Alabama beating the pants off of Alabama and Auburn. Also, I noticed that La Monroe is not on the list...but they are in good company with La Tech, which also didn't make the list. A few other Texas Universities that did not make the list: Tarlton State, SFA, Midwestern State, TAMCC...I could go on, but I'm kinda in the boat with Stebo...not a bad list to be on even if it is near the bottom. EDIT: Ouch...Ark State also didn't make the list.

Agree on Estes...love going up there. The Stanley hotel is pretty cool too...but on the expensive side as well.

I'd be happy to help, but not too familiar with lodges since most things are less than a couple hours from my house...assuming you are coming up during ski season, Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, Vail, and Aspen are the most renowned. I hear Durango down in the SW corner of the state usually has great skiing as well. Can you provide a little more info on what exactly yall are wanting to do?
