Counterpoint: Our football program is mediocre/bad.

Not to mention - we held ANOTHER team to under 50 pts. At their place. You’re gonna win pretty much every game in that scenario.

Baseball isn’t on the radar - and it shouldn’t be. The new hoops arena will 100% happen prior to consideration of adding another sport. It’s in the strategic plan. Prepare yourself.

It’s seeming more possible now that the national media jumped on board after the UAB win. I hope you’re right. Just beaten dog syndrome on my end creeping in I suppose. Edit: I really should say that I hope it doesn’t end up mattering when we win in Frisco. I believe in this team.

We agree. If there ever was a team that the committee would readjust the criteria for selection - you know it’d end up being us. Plus the only way to keep our NET below the 41 threshold is to keep winning every game. Unfortunately, no margin for error.

No doubt they changed the energy in the building this season. Was awesome to see so many students at the game.

I really am out of descriptors for this team. They are so tough and awesome! Grant is hands down one of the best coaches in America. I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise. The crowd…oh the crowd. It was an insane atmosphere and our fans really brought it today energy wise. 2nd only to the Tech overtime game in my time. I just want our folks to wake up and realize we can literally do that every week if we want to. No complaining though - Thank you to every Mean Green fan that came out. Truly memorable. Massive props to the UNT Alumni Association for partnering with Athletics to pull that pre-game off. I can’t think of a better way to get our folks together. It made a difference in the game atmosphere.

Read that since NET has been instituted that no team ranked 41 or lower has been left out of the NCAA tourney field.

Haven’t needed this myself but though I’d share - Sometimes you can buy a reduced price all sessions or game day sessions pass from fans of opposing teams that get bounced. Heck just walking around the Star area pre-game in the past couple of years (take out last year cause of COVID limitations), I’ve been offered them for nothing a few times from people who just wanted them to be used since they’d already been paid for.

Another fun game! Nice to put it away early and coast. Ousmane was dominant. When he establishes position and sets his feet before that baby hook - he’s unstoppable! Definitely the Hot Fry Georgie player of the game for the Mean Green. Crowd was good - much better than I expected given the crap weather situation. Not real rowdy since the game was never in question but encouraging none the less. Saturday is going to be nuts. I can’t wait for that game.

Yep. Live in Denton so it’s an easy drive but everything was clear.

He and Grant are both Top 25 coaches in my estimation. AAC is picking up two programs with great leaders.

Combined with URCM and Student Activities. All departments need to push the chips in and row the boat in the same direction.

Both teams are clearly NCAA Tournament caliber teams. There will be several that get At Larges this season that are not on either team’s level.

School has got to get the promotion machine across campus in full effect starting tomorrow for next week’s games.
