Ok, I am SICK of the negativity on this board! I am SICK of hearing " Fire Dodge!" We lost this game not because of Todd Dodge, in fact almost all of our losses were not because of TD. We lost this game because of simple mistakes by the PLAYERS not the coaches. Riley was making very poor choices out there and we weren't holding onto the football. We lost this game because we can't finish. But that is a big improvement because we used to lose games because we just couldn't compete. These players have been competing all year. And don't try to tell me otherwise! We worked on competing this year and next year we work on finishing. And last, for those of you who repeatedly say your done with North Texas Football until TD is fired and those who didn't come to the game because they are done with UNT football, you are not a North Texas fan. Not a true one at least. No matter what happens, how the teams doing, if -50 and raining, I will go to the games because I love UNT football. That is a true fan.
I agree and then some. And do not tell me I enjoy mediocrity.

I was listening on the radio when my son said , Dad its on tv.
-
they sure look good on HD TV and Carter is full for real.

If you look on Google Earth or any sat sight you can see where the stadium once was. The oval is still there if you know what to look for. As for the pool, it was old but fun non the less.

TD FAU. I am getting really tired.
-
Good example of how things on this board can be misunderstood.

Or if he spelled his name with a B.

Welcome back Jay dub. Are you like back in Denton or on the board or both?

I just found out that ESPNU has been added to my package on 614 for Directv. Not HD.
-
Joe, you have to subscribe to ESPNU. Then you can sit.

What about Lewisville? anybody? My son had football practice but I am hoping to drop off and go somewhere close by.
-
I would like to see the picture. I wonder if it was assigned or a had out. I need the work.
-
I like this idea. We could also share the ins and outs of the game to make new fans..............
-
I think it is a vast improvement but I would like a button for the screeching eagle sound. I would play it over and over on my own terms.

Let Dr. Phil mention North Texas all he wants as long as it is positive. Even if he did not play at NT we may pick up one of those Oprah fans.

Thanks scott, I am supposed to be objective but when I saw the NT shirt he was instant news. Hope his pig is ok. My dog is named scrappy.

Its about the 3rd or 4th photo.

gosh, that may be the last feature for North Texas for a while. Come on Dudes.

The story was fine. When you do not like the news, kill the messenger. Right?

Kenneth Lyons.
Whatever the year, DePaul (ranked #1 at the time) came to town with their top player, Mark Aguire, ready for a showdown against Kenneth Lyons and the Mean Green. As I recall, NT lost that night, but not before Lyons launched Aguire over the North Texas bench. Probably the best North Texas game I've ever seen.
Lyons has been sitting behind the bench at the last 2 NT home games.
I remember that DePaul game. Lyons was a great player but what I remember that day was the Pit being full and folks standing for the entire game. I played in the pep band and got to see many fine games. I remember beating Texas at the pit one night and having a hard time getting to sleep that night.

gosh, there are at least fore times as many players out there at the same time as B ball so there you go and being outside is a good thing.

with my luck, he would travel the route of Hayden Fry leading Nebraska to a National title. hmmmmmmmmm.

Congratulations to UNT’s One O’Clock Lab Band, which was nominated for a pair of Grammy Awards today. The band’s album, Lab 2009, is up for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album, while the group’s director, Steve Wiest is nominated in the Best Instrumental Composition category for his song “Ice-Nine,” which appears on the album.
Two grammy nods for the UNT Lab Band. They continue to rise to the top over and over.
