  1. I dont buy anything without the new logo. I have the green had with white eagle logo and it been one of my favorites of all time. Folks think I am a Philly fan and then I get to educate them about the Mean Green. I have a green and white football with the loga and new script on it. My son took it to the Cook out and got signitures all over it. He was thrilled. I also have a new battle flag, green with white logo and white script University of North Texas.

It also looks good on NCAA football 07.

So it is getting out there and I personally like it.

  2. Sorry guys, you cant blame the students if they are not interested. It is kinda like pushing a religion on them, if they dont want it, they dont want it. NT draws a lot of students that are not into sports and or that kind of social scene.

We lack the traditional peer pressure to attend games that many big-time schools have.

So, we have to continue to produce a good product by winning and good game day experince. We provide a good product at the right time and it could gell.

    Keep a winning traditon.

  3. photographing = shooting, with camera. I know, in this day and age I may go to jail.

Adler, I looked again and I still like AC and dont really understand what you dont like about the new drawing or concept that we have other than they are not getiing anything done. I really dont know anything about it as to debate its funtionality.

  4. I was shooting defensive ends, Chase Ortiz and Tommy Blake for a MWC story and noticed that Amon Carter has the horse shoe style lower lever, sans track, and steep side seats. Very much like the renditions posted about the initial designes of our new stadium in the "wishful thinking" topic.

I really like watching football at Amon Carter and seeing how similar it is to our concept is really great. The big difference is the luxury boxed right above the horse shoe. With the boxes, it will even be steeper and more canyon like.

We have to have this stadium before I kick off.

  5. My son and I had a great time. The boy wanted Jamario Thomas and Johnny Quin to sign his football and he got his wishes and then some.

I want to thank the players that came and gave their time for us and coach Dicky for making me and my son feel like part of the mean green family. Coach Dicky looked like he was in playing shape. I wish him continued health. ncaa 08 will have to re-animate him

  6. For Fathers day I recieved a NT battle flag with a green field and white new eagle logo with Univesity of North Texas on it. I didnt get a pole kit with it but was able to mount it on a stick so I could parade up and down the street. I drew quite a lot of attention. Next thing I new the neighbor kids got out their folks flags, Nebraska, TT, Louville and Ohio State and we had a parade.

Oh the off season is killing me.

Anyway, my enthusiasm got 2 families to bite on the wonderfully priced family pack over in section H. woooo hoooooo. I think I get a referal gift if I read the fan guide correctly.

Anyone else pushing tickets this year?

  7. I remember PGA tour players Rives McBee in the 50s and Guy Cullum in the 70s. Those Nation Titles used to hang on the wall of the old golf course clubhouse there at Ealge point. It was on the hill there where the hotel is now. The building war really cool with a ballroom upstairs. Playing on the golf team in Jr High and High school we had lockers in the back and I thought the spirit of Don January and the boys was always there.

I recently took photos of McBee and he was sad that the old course was torn down. He also said NT was not very nice to him. He sells a bunch of golf stuff on ebay these days.
