Would Dickey ever have gone directly from a scrimmage to a local car dealership to be on the radio? Dodge is so committed to promoting this program. It is so refreshing! Dodge is seemingly taking every opportunity to create "buzz" in the metroplex about UNT football. Makes me happy. Get's my sports weiner excited.

Lets hope that the only kicking that our walk-on freshman place kicker needs to make are extra points. If we put the ball in the end zone, we can get by with a young kicker. Besides, kickers are not highly recruited players. It's not uncommon to find good kickers without scholarships. We have had a few at North texas that worked out very well.

Heaven forbid these students are actually expected to go to class and learn something while in college. I think the University is right on for not admitting them.

All we need is for another QB who needs to call a time-out on the first play, on the first game of the season again. I know it was a few years ago, but that was embarrasing.

I saw it, but didn't get too excited because I knew the photo was fake. I see Fouts everyday and I knew there was no logo on the field. I still think the SOW would look great at the 50 yard line, but no one cares what I think.

Would it be too much to ask Riley Dodge to get his GED and skip his senoir year at Carroll? I think we are in a worse QB situation than Carroll. Please not that I am just kidding around and that I do not advocate dropping out of scholl in any way. I don't want hate mail from the PC police.

I went by Fouts today to see what the bull dozers were all about. Looks like they are removing all the old chain link fencing around the gates and replacing it with a nice wrought iron fence. The main sections are already up around the main concourse. It looks nice. I think they are trying to keep Fouts from looking so "trashy." I didn't bother investigating the restrooms. I never liked going in there before because of the smell. I just tend to hold it as long as I can. I guess only time will tell if the restrooms are updated to a point that humans can feel comfortable in, not just the crickets.

Did I miss something? Is Matt Phillips not a candidate for the job? I thought he had a lot of promise. I think he would be a better QB with a better coach. I also think it is way too early to give Meager the job. Vizza has a lot of talent and it wouldnt surprise me to see Dodge give him a shot at some point this year. My biggest concern with Meager is his durability. He always seems to get hurt when we need him the most. He looks good at times, but he has also thrown some VERY untimely interceptions. I agree with the other posters who think this starting QB job is still "wide open" heading into two-a-days.
