  1. "Fan: Eric (Murfreesboro) Question: Are there any plans to get MT into a more stable and viable conference and what about getting more high profile teams coming to Murfreesboro?" Uhhhh...win some football games, idiot. And stop biting the hand that feeds you. Man, I hope we smack these pansies good!
  2. What are you referring to? Has he been an issue in the past?
  3. Probably will be a close race, actually...
  4. Exactly. I, for one, really liked the hunter green and do not enjoy the kelly so much. The darker shade looks better, gives a tougher appearance while the "kelly" (isn't that a girl's name???) looks more meeker...
  5. Now, is that added bulk the dreaded "Freshman 15"!?!?!! Hopefully it's all muscle.
  6. I'll tell you...JT must REALLY be a modest fellow. He will be making $$$MILLIONS$$$ in the NFL, and yet he would only buy a 350Z!!! I mean, that's a great car and all...but what about a Lambo or Ferrari, etc...
  7. I sent an email to Chris Jackson (Associate Commisioner - Media, SB Conference) asking him this question: Why does FAU have so many TV games scheduled? I am certainly not complaining since any SB institution on the TV promotes all member programs, but it does not seem real equitable compared to other members' opportunities. I was really wondering why NT would not have more (if not the same!) TV games scheduled than FAU. This was his response: "Thanks for your interest in the Sun Belt Conference. Florida Atlantic has taken the opportunity to create their own television package. FAU, along with Troy, have entered the league and have been very proactive and aggressive in their television production. As a league, we have a number of games that we will produce. Those games will include at least one game for each institution. From there, the individual schools create their own packages and get their games on television on their own. One thing you will find is that some schools are more proactive and aggressive than others. Thanks again for your support of the league. cj" So, is he really trying to say that teams like FAU and Troy are just more aggressive than us in marketing, promoting, gaining TV games? Who is responsible for doing these activities at NT?
  8. Again...we need a Rivals Board. Don't get me wrong, this Board is great but a Rivals Board is where it's at...
  9. Good, their other Board is pathetic. Also, I agree with Plumm and MDMeangreen...we need to have a Rivals Board...
  10. This is the beginning of the end, folks! It was nice while it lasted...
  11. Yeah...won't that be a shame when there are still 800 still there a year from now...
  12. Well, I plan on making the MTSU game...so that would leave the Troy game and ULL game IF GamePlan does pick them up. I was supposed to get the MTSU game last year, but NESN yanked it to show some Boston Redsox World Series party.
  13. Nice... Too bad I will probably only get two games on the tube!
  14. THANK YOU...that's what I have been saying all along!!! It does seem strange that the 4-peat Conference Champ has less TV games than some others, especially considering that we are in a pretty decent market. I mean, I do like that we have added a school like FAU, as they are in a good location and most likely will develop into a good Div 1-A program. But, they seem to be stealing some of our glory...those young whipper-snappers! It seems that Troy and FAU hit the jackpot for TV games this year, as they have more TV games than us. Troy has 4 total ESPNU games, not including their ESPN2 game with us. FAU has an ouright ESPN game versus OkSt. I am glad we have some ESPN + games, but it is not for sure that I will be able to get these in NC, whereas I think I can get all of the ESPNU games. We don't have ONE ESPNU game. Don't get me wrong...I would rather have an ESPN2 game anyday, but still... What's the deal with this?????
  15. That's like, what, 10 years away at least realistically...
  16. But Phil Steele had him SB 2nd Team... Congratulations Dylan!!!
  17. I'm confused on this point. I thought a TE was supposed to be one of your more durable players? What was the extent of these injuries?
  18. Start Harmon???? I think we have too much talent at TE for Harmon to start. Maybe he will be a good backup...
  19. Thanks for the suggestion!
  20. I am looking for a new set of clubs, and think these may be a good set. Any suggestions?
  21. Off the Athletic website: Jack Crumes # 76 Offensive Lineman - OL Height: 6-4 Weight: 270 Freshman Previous Affiliations Eisenhower HS Houston, TX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Courtesy: University of North Texas Release: 05/27/2005 A natural to football, Crumes has only one year of experience under his belt but still managed to record 75 pancake blocks last season ... Was named honorable mention all-district last season ... Crumes was originally a basketball star at Eisenhower, starting at post for the Eagles.
  22. Good point here. Although you some players have the capacity and ability to start as true freshman...most lineman have to go through the process of learning the schemes, while at the same time putting on weight and muscle (strength). The real point here is that we have had, arguably, the best line in the SB the last four years and there is no reason to think that will not continue.
  23. Ahhhhhhhh...piece of cake!!!
  24. If Bill Gates donated $30 Million to the school for a new stadium, it WOULD be his way!!!
  25. I think you are right. It really is great that the former Bulldog coach has such an affinity for us, as this can only help our cause...
