Then WHY, pray tell, does this issue seem to come up at least once a year???? Two theories: 1. He is looking to leave 2. He is just trying to gain more leverage in his current position. He could just be testing the waters. I am not doing myself justice career-wise if I do not occasionally look out there to see what else there might be. I did not realize this, but both DeMario Thomas and Desmon Chatman were listed on the Kilgore College Athletic roster: Kilgore College Football Roster I could not find any playing statistics on either...not even sure if they played.

OK...I am kind of getting red a## from hearing this sooo much! Do we really have such great receivers? This was another year where I saw A LOT of balls being dropped that should have been caught. THAT, alone, would have helped a young freshman QB with his confidence and getting things going. No more comments about our GREAT receivers...

Do you REALLY know what you are talking about? We usually only play one, MAYBE two, $$$ games a season. Think of all the OOC games we could/should have won - TCU, S. Florida, Southern Miss, Arizona, Tulsa, FAU (before they were officially in the SBC), Memphis...the list is long. Let's be honest, what does it truly mean nationally for us to have won the SBC 4 years in a row? WOuld not EVERYONE agree that winning the ACC every year would be a HUGE feat? Honestly, how many teams in America could beat the Troy, UL-Pick 'em, ASU, FIU, MTSU, etc. of football. It is truly embarrassing that DD does not have a better OOC record. Give him any excuse you want, but the reality is when you can only beat teams 100-117, he really does not say a whole heck of a lot....does it?

Not true...look at NC State. They are the worst penalized team in the ACC and lose plenty of games as well with the stupid penalties, just like NT. Both coaches seem to relish in the penalties and think it is ok to have a player fired-up so much so that they draw a flag. I do not understand how teams like those can be so undisciplined. Must be the coaching...

Bingo...that's it. When you play teams 110-117 every year, I hope you DO rack up some wins. We all know that being the SB Champ does not mean sh*t in the scheme of things. We need a new coach now, one who can actually coach against I-A teams. We all knew that the rest of the SB would catch up to us at some point; it was nice while it lasted. The problem is that the rest of the SB is really not much better than last year, if it is actually worse than last year...

Good point. For me, this season harks back to the mid-late 90's, where our defense wasn't too bad, but our offense would do NOTHING to help us win games. Defense cannot win it alone (well...that's a moot point, I guess), but typically your offense has to help some...

Has everyone forgotten a team called UL-M???? If they don't lose another game, they win it outright. If they only lose to us, they share the title...
