Sorry, my friend, I was at the Duke game...they lost to RICHMOND! Would that not be considered the worst game of the day??????? An ACC team losing to an unranked (I believe) IAA team????? It actually was not as bad as in years past...

Cody Spencer was waived by the Titans as well. Our NFL representation is dwindling. Man, can you imagine the odds of making a 53 man NFL roster, though!?

Everybody PLEASE be honest here. You all know that we have some pretty good players. Were our linemen getting blown off the ball every play? No. Were our receivers getting past the defense backfield? Yes. Did we look just totally outmatched yesterday? No. I was not totally discouraged watching the game. I felt that for the most part we played four quarters. I remember games in the past (like Texas A&M at Texas Stadium, for instance) where we could play the first two quarters, but could not go four with them. Those days are over. Unfortunately, we do not have a coaching staff that can accentuate our player/program development. DD and staff just do not know how to make in-game adjustments. They are HIGHLY outcoached. They do not know how to put together a gameplan vs. the likes of good OOC teams. We are not out-manned...we are OUT-COACHED!!!

My wife works at Duke, and had two free tickets for yesterday's game vs. Richmond. I thought, hell, free tickets...live football game...why not??? Saddest Div. IA football game I ever saw. Richmond manhandled Duke. My buddy and I left at half, and went to Hooters to watch the ND/GA Tech game. Anyway...I am confident we would smack both Richmond and Duke pretty hard. Folks, we are NOT the worst team in America!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Patrick...way to go!!! That should be a GREAT team for him! Pittsburgh isn't too far, and maybe they'll play some of my "local" teams as well. Wow...that was awesome news!

Looks like all of our other NFL players survived as well. I do not think this was an issue, though, for them.

Are the Terps playing NT at some time??? I guess you can get away with playing a school like W&M if you play in the ACC. Tough schedule, even with 1-2 I-AA opponents.

If this is true (and this is something I keep hearing about Phillips), why would the coaches play someome that is not all that mobile? Is this the logical choice. Texas has made a name for itself with mobile QB's, as of late. Maybe the "non-mobile" QB will throw them for a loop???!??

DD really is in love with DM. The only reason a decision was not made was because DM was "not able" to play during the scrimmage. If he were there, and did just enough then he would be named starter. Just my opinion...

Might be referring to parents that have NT players...but I always take the time to brag about my children! I have one girl, Caitlyn, who is almost 5...and one boy, Christian, who is 2 1/2 I am so proud of them both. Caitlyn is a girly chick, but LOVES football! For a five year old she really has a pretty strong arm. Plus, the ball hit her in the face yesterday (she was ok!), and she got right back up and asked me to "throw it again, Daddy!" Almost made me cry!!! Christian is as rambunctious as they come...VERY energetic. But, he is a big boy, and will play linebacker some day. He has very broad shoulders like me, and looks like he will be barrel-chested.

Pretty telling article. I guess I did not realize that our attendance numbers were actually better than two other conferences (MAC and WAC). Yes, it does look like a long upward climb to the middle...
