Yes, but will it translate well to the college ranks?...that is the million $$$ question my friend. If so then our offense will vastly improve...if not we've got ourselves a lame-duck HS coach coaching our D-IA program. I personally think it would be great, and would work out awesome (probably 1-2 year adjustment period)...but I still think the coach is going to be someone most of us have not heard about and whom has not been mentioned as of yet. Stay tuned...

BINGO! Believe me...we are all in the dark right now, and no one has any idea who the new coach will be.

We had to meet a certain seating capacity criteria to meet NCAA regulations, and this was the most cost effective route. From what I had heard at the time, the plan was to "build a new stadium in the near future"...sound familiar?????

Told ya'll... BTW...the new NT HC will be a candidate not already mentioned, and someone most of us have never even heard of.

Meeting has been postponed...not sure what this means, though...

Yes...LOVE San Diego and the drive down to Oceanside along the PCH...BUT, I do not love the real estate prices there. I could only afford a Hobbit's hut for what I paid for my house here...

Yeah, look at the NC State situation. Before Tom O'Brien was hired, he stated just a few days earlier that he was not looking at any job and there was NO mention of him. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue, he gets named the new coach.

Personally...I think he would be a bad choice. It is hard to translate HS success into Div IA success (historically). Someone with some IA experience would be a better candidate...even if he were an assistant. My humble opinion of course... It looks like some new candidates, some better qualified candidates, have been mentioned lately. Quite frankly, though, I will support whom ever gets hired as I am just glad to see Dickey go. It was time for a regime change.

Is it just me or does it seem like the other schools have much better (and quality) HC candidates than UNT? I realize that there are some pretty big programs here (Miami, Alabama, NCSU, etc.)...but there is a stark difference. BTW, I did not know that Danny White was a HC...anyone remember him????
