1. I am actually quite surprised not to see Dylan Lineberry on that list. He has been consistent in his grading (usually graded-out the best), has good size and speed, and has been recognized. Also, I have got to say that I was quite impressed with what little I did see of his play in that senior bowl in Houston. JQ I am not that surprised about (too small), but this was a bit of a surprise.
2. Link to article
Football: QBs from Heights, Comfort receive statewide honor

Web Posted: 02/11/2007 12:53 AM CST
San Antonio Express-News Alamo Heights quarterback Giovanni Vizza and Comfort quarterback Luke Roberts were named Built Ford Texas Tough High School Football Players of the Year during a ceremony Saturday at Texas Stadium in Irving. Vizza won the Class 4A honor after helping lead the Mules to the Division I state title. An Express-News All-Area pick, Vizza passed for an area-best 3,278 yards and 37 touchdowns with just eight interceptions. Roberts, also an All-Area pick, won the 2A award after leading the area in total offense with 4,330 yards (2,581 passing and 1,749 rushing). He scored 35 rushing TDs and threw for 28. - Staff report
3. Is that so? A more expensive education in ARKANSAS than a college in TX...DFW Metroplex, no less??? Hey, at least we NT graduates no the difference between lose and loose!!!
4. Not according to this: Navy 2007 Football Schedule
5. Well, for starters he is going to put up a lot of points against fellow teams in our conference on his way to creating some very lop-sided games. He is going to pack Fouts Stadium, creating a potential safety hazard (can that old stadium fit that many fans????), he is going to create infectious excitement with the students on campus, thereby jeopardizing their ability to learn... Oh, and back to the stadium he is going to create traffic jams along I-35 and streets surrounding the stadium. I do not know about you, but I am concerned with all of this potential National exposure he is going to create - my alma mater will no longer be my our best kept secret. Now ask me, fellow Mean Green'ers, what is not to LOVE about TD??????
6. Hell yeah...me too!!! I am going to take vacation days I don't even have for this one. GO MEAN GREEN!!!
7. ...not again....
8. Sorry...I am missing your point here. What is the correlation here???
9. First game of the 1993 season...I believe we played ACU. That season I worked for the Assistant AD in marketing. I LOVED that job because I had access to both the field and press box during the games. Plus, they would cater in bbq from Colter's (all you could eat! ) so I had two of my favorite things at the same time...NT football and bbq!!!
10. Jo Jo Walker turned out to be a GREAT player for Maryland...
11. NAAASSSTTTTYYYYY!!!
12. That's weird dude. You were having a conversation with yourself!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!
13. Derek Lewis most likely will be leaving the NT staff soon: According to Sid Hartman with the Minneapolis Star Tribune: "Saturday, there was a high school football coaching clinic going on at Hamline University, so when new Gophers coach Tim Brewster heard about it, he grabbed members of his new staff, went over there and spent time introducing himself and the others with him. New members of Brewster's staff who are already on the scene include Randy Taylor, who will be director of football operations and has been working the past two years evaluating players for the NFL; running backs coach Thomas Hammock, who had been at Northern Illinois; linebackers coach John Butler, who was at Harvard; and recruiting coordinator Dan Berezowitz. Others likely to be on the staff include Derek Lewis, a former All-Big 12 tight end at Texas; Mark Hill, the assistant strength coach at Arizona; and Jay Johnson of Lakeville, who is the offensive coordinator at Southern Mississippi."
14. BTW...I thought Dylan played quite well from the few series I saw him in. Hope he gets a shot in the NFL...
15. Being honest, and not to be rude, but ANY of the QB recruits I have heard about would be a better option than those three...
16. WOW...I must say that I am truly impressed! Knowing the inner workings of all, what 119, Div IA first-hand is quite an amazing feat!!!
17. Is there any particular reason(s) why some of you are mad he was not hired? Do you know him personally and can vouch for his coaching/teaching abilities? We have to trust that TD and the NT athletic administration will make the right moves to promote this program. I understand he was a good player here that went on to the NFL. Yeah, and??? Again, what are his abilities?
18. True, but I tend to agree with everyone else that we seem to lose when it counts the most. The Charlotte game was AWESOME (I was there to watch it)...the Tulsa win was great, too (although a very sloppy game), but you do have to question some things after a loss like this. We all know we have talent...that cannot be used as any excuse. What needs to happen???
19. Sorry, must have missed something...why can JQ not play?? Yes, congrats young men...you have made us proud once again!
20. What time (EST) is the men's game tonight???? Thanks!
21. Thanks again Harry! This is some AWESOME information!
22. Ohhhhhh man!...'Hump Day' is gonna' be xtra special that day!!!
23. Opinions are like a$$holes...everyone has one...
24. ....uh, what a great win for BSU over a good program like OU, just like the rest of us I am sure.
