I agree. There was a LB that played for the team back in the 93-94 seasons that was pretty tough, but I cannot remember his name. He was a fairly stout African American gentleman but, again, cannot recall his name...anyone know????

What about the wave??? I know it is corny, but how about the crowd doing the wave after every first down, or TD, or something like that? On second thought...we may be compared and start being called the "Green Wave"!

Personally, and not to sound too underachieving, I am just happy that we will be seeing some exciting football on the offensive side. I, for one, got quite bored during some of the games the last few years ESPECIALLY when we were getting are arses kicked and I kept yelling for something more than the infamous draw. I cannot WAIT to see our spread offense in action! What are you anxious for???

The reality is that we are finally starting to catch up to what the rest of the Div IA world is doing in terms of policies and ticket sales. We have just not been accustomed to this, but it was bound to change at some point. When I first moved to Raleigh, I was shocked at how much you had to pay just to even buy a season ticket (NC State)...let alone the really nice seats.

I'll second that...coming from the North I was SHOCKED at all the beautiful (dare I say HOT!) North Texas women. It certainly helped make the transition (I moved down from a small private school in PA) all that much easier. BTW...Quaker women are really not all that hot...

That sounds just like my history as well. I worked for the athletic department for the 1993 season (believe there was a regime change after that, b/c I lost my job), and saw every home game from the press box. That got me started, and I do not believe I missed too many after that, but 45 games sounds about right to me. My last home game was the (now infamous) 2006 FAU vs. NT "black jersey" game. Not the best NT game I have ever witnessed, I must say...
