That would be an insult to the players and coaches to treat this like one of those "reality" shows... ...having said that, Evyn Roman needs to be voted off, or atleast get a frickin' haircut bo'!!!

...or Rice fans. Rice lost to Nichols State. I would MUCH rather of had my a$$ handed to me by OU (#8 team in the nation, and moving up), than to lose to a I-AA (FCS) team. Yes, would rather be us than Michigan or Rice.

I know I am going to be jumped on for this... ...but can we just call this for what it is and move on: Jamario had a GREAT freshman season, no one can argue that. However, that was a LONG time ago, and it is not coming back. I know he has had hammy issues, and weight issues, etc., and not taking anything away from him...but that era is over. We just need to focus on other things, like our porous defense, slow offense, coaching aptitude, etc. and move on from talking about Jamario. In other words...we have more critical issues to focus on.

Seriously, why don't we just call this what it is...which is a "building" year. We have brought in a new regime, basically new everything. The landscape of NT football has changed. Having said that, I think (and, no I am not the coach, ok) the best thing to do is start Vizza, and get him ready for next year. We obviously will be focused on building and getting better, learning the new system, so let's focus on the future. I do not mean for this to sound defeatist in any way, just being realistic and practical...

The point is, we want a team that CAN compete with teams like OU...not just the SB teams. We shouldn't think "OK...got that out of the way, now let's focus on games we CAN win!"...that is the wrong attitude...

Worst game I have seen this week. We will have an uphill battle this year...

I watched this game from start to finish. By far one of the most interesting college football games I have ever watched. The Michigan fans were stunned to say the least. By the way...that was pretty tacky of the Michigan coach to not do the halftime interview. I mean, I know it was supposed to be a highlight interview of the great Michigan offense, killer defense, and how good they look while killing the lowly ASU squad, but still classless...

It's ok...I have called my buddies up in Boone, and explained that they are supposed to be the "cream puff" opponent. It's ok...problem is now solved!

No, not really. He coached one season here, but he played and graduated from Nebraska. Nebraska is his alma mater...not NT.

Flying out to Oklahoma City Saturday morning from NC to watch the game... ...and since that is not really going to happen, I am having a couple friends over to watch the game. I am hoping we give up a good fight, but I am sure they will make us proud no matter the final outcome.
