...and a RB that can run a sub 4.4 40, can throw a 350 lb linemen off the line, can catch out of the backfield, get us 250 yards running per game ...a 6-2 or above QB with the same sub 4.4 40 speed that can throw 500 + yards a game, get 200 + yards running, can run OVER defensive linemen ...placekicker that will never miss from anything under 75 yards away ...and, yes, those OL and DL linemen that are 6-5 or more, 325 or more, and can run a 4.4 or better Really, I do not see why it is so difficult! Why can our coaching staff not realize the talent we need here!?? Hopefully they read this post and come to their senses...hopefully we have now given them some sage advice on how and who to recruit.

To answer your question, an emphatic HELL YES!!! This is ridiculous!!! We knew this was going to be a tough year for us, and TD would take a while to adjust...but this is pure crap!!!

A little displacement, maybe? Are you REALLY mad at JJ...or frustrated with the season thus far? It's ok, man, let it out...let it out...

I, too, believe he would be better suited for Arena than the NFL. Plus, he most likely stands a better chance in Arena than the NFL. Best of luck to JQ!

Plus...there were some other great games where SBC played well but still lost, such as MTSU vs. Louisville and ASU vs. Texas.

...a Defense we were told would be the strength of the team at the beginning of the season. I certainly think it is fair to question some of the mistakes, miscues, etc. early on in this season. Questioning these things does not a "fair weather" fan make! I do not think we would even be posting about these things if we all were not willing to weather the storm and ride it out. We will get better...it just all needs to come together, and preferrably at the same time! BTW...I have not been to a SLC football game. Does something magical happen!?!?!

Like I said in an earlier thread...the pass-and-catch in practice is one thing, being able to perform in the game is another. You know, I think I can throw the footbal pretty well. However, send 3 or 4 275+ people after me and I couldn't throw worth a damn! Huh...sounds like DM's problem... Hey, why don't we just politely ask the opposing team to not blitz us thereby allowing time for our QB to throw the ball. I think that would be the polite thing for them to do? What do you think...would that work for DM???

OK...might be a good point. However, can you prove that? In other words, how do we know that someone else (such as Vizza) would not be able to throw better when running for his life? All everyone is saying is give the other guy a chance. Once we exhaust our option THEN we can whine about our offensive line and how they cannot block. Sorry it cannot be a perfect situation for DM. Sorry bud...it cannot always be the pass-and-catch like in practice...

I totally agree. Those interceptions from DM are sooooo deflating for our team. They happen at THE WORST possible time. My heart sank when he threw that last interception (well, maybe it was the one before the last... but you get my point). No, I am not a coach and am not questioning...but I really think TD should have put Vizza into the game at the end. We will not win with DM...he does not have what it takes.

In that vein...my biggest observation is that this is the second game in a row where it seems we fell flat in the end. Should Dodge have put Vizza in towards the end to shake things up and awaken the O? Seems like we got up on them and could not hold them at all. It also seems like, whether fair or not, that DM may have had a significant hand in this defeat. I keep hearing about no emotion (need that from a field general), and those interceptions really hurt. Anyone think 1 TD to 3 INT's is a good thing? Seems to be a repeating pattern here. We will get better...GO MEAN GREEN!!!
