...I did not see where they were "preparing" for NT, but I had visions of them running a few gassers and then spending the rest of the practice time in the players lounge playing Madden football on the PS2 and sipping on gatorade while foam footballs are being flung around the room!!!

THANK YOU!!! COME ON people, I am CONFIDENT that we will recruit another QB sometime within the next 5 years! As a matter of fact, I thought TD stated that he wanted to recruit a QB in every recruting class (and not just for purposes of playing at DB, but for the QB position) anyway. I still say RD is too small to play as a DI-A QB...but he might, of course, prove the naysayers wrong. Anyway...WAY too early to worry about not having enough good QB's!

I agree, and unfortunately we really do not have much to show for all of those championships. Any other program in the nation would have parlayed that into even greater success...like South Florida, Louisville, et al. Instead, we have fired the coach that gave us those championships and hired one that has done not much better. (I know, I probably should have not mentioned that. However, I will be the first to apologize when/if TD takes us to glory...and I will gladly do that.) Time to put up...or shut up!

Maybe since everyone has come to their senses and not predict a close game or a (gasp!) win over LSU, the team will surprise us and either play a close game or beat LSU??? ...nahhhhhh!!!!

Not to strengthen the "Bring back DD!" chant...but Cam would have been an awesome RB in that offense. Too bad we cannot figure out a way to utilize him, b/c he shows such promise (could be a "feature" back?) to be a very good RB. I think this will serve as a point of argument in the future...should we have done more with him?

I am sure that crap went over well in HS...but there is just too much speed in the college game. This whole "receivers acting as RB's" thing ain't cuttin' it. And the running the ball up the middle on every 2nd down, and giving us 3rd and long has got to stop. WAY too many 3rd and longs. This offense obviously has no response for that. Unfortunately, it looks like the glitz and glamour has worn off of this offense. We really need to go back to the drawing board, and come up with an offense that can actually MOVE the ball...
