So that would mean C-USA would have at least 5 teams eligible for a bowl game? If so...then that would support my point as well...as the Sun Belt Conference has never (as far as I am aware) had that man y teams eligible for a bowl game. Further, and to support my original statement, if the SB #1 plays in the NO Bowl...then it is not as if we will play the C-USA #1 team...

No...I think he is just being realistic. Many on this board were questioning some of Dodge's hires...and others took the position that we have to trust the man to hire who he saw fit to help him coach the team. Remind me again...how did most of those hires turn out??

Yeah...the diving Eagle log would be AWESOME on a helmet...maybe with the wings flipping over the top of the helmet?? But, I would definitely love to see that logo on our next helmet...

Understood that this appeared to be inevitable...but still hurts nonetheless. We will most likely feel this the most as we get deeper into the season and depth becomes more important...

I have been in Denton visiting family for the past week or so...and have been reminded what real potential we have. Denton has really grown...and is becoming an even greater city. The traffic is now horrendous...but that is a different story for another time. Hopefully things will only go up from here... BTW...if no one has seen the new stadium in person, the new stadium is going to be AWESOME!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!

Not to hijack the MWC thread...but if we were to join C-USA we would play at ECU. I live @ 1.5 hours from ECU so of course would be VERY excited about that! :-)
