Just looking at the internets and social media lately, I am starting to lean towards Littrell getting another gig after this season. I hope like hell I am wrong, but I think we have to be realistic about it. Here are my reasons. 1). He has a great resume to sell now, even with some disappointing losses lately, he turned around a bad program in 3 years and has shown himself to be a good evaluator of talent (Mason Fine etc). 2). The defense took a huge step forward this season but will likely take a step back next season with all the graduations. Littrell can shed the "Texas Tech" label of no-defense right now but perhaps will not be able to in the next cycle. 3). He hired a new agent. You don't do that unless you are actively looking at the market. 4). There are a LOT of open or opening HC spots that are mentioning Littrell as a top choice right now. KU, KSU, Louisville, Purdue etc. Seth wants OU and I get that, but it's an easier step up from these other programs to the jobs at the very top of the foodchain (OU, Texas etc).

Agreed. Also, please know that if any of us see an unfair downvote we typically will rectify it by throwing a +1 your way which typically offsets it. The best way to deal with misuse or personal vendettas is to not give them attention. That alone will typically make it go away.

North Texas came out of the gates with a purpose and kept it going the whole way in a 68-51 rout of host Hawaii for the Outrigger Rainbow Classic basketball championship today at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Mean Green (4-0) of Conference USA scored the game’s first seven points, led 17-4, and held a 35-17 halftime lead. This Hawaii analyst Tony Sallito in the orange shirt is right, UNT is forcing Hawaii to make a ton of passes which is causing them to make a lot of turnovers. He said Hawaii should try to shoot the ball sooner and I expect that they will be doing that in the second half.

That was one of the BEST halves of North Texas basketball I have watched. Hawaii is not a great team but they aren't a bad team either. Wow this is fun.
