Great news!

Real nice write-up and fun to read from their perspective. I have come to really like and respect Cal. Their fans are a class act and they seem very respectable in their write-ups and on here and their message board. Their postings here have been very helpful giving us the info on how to use BART and other information. Our fans get excited about this out of state road trip like none other I have seen other than perhaps Army. This is a series that I for one would like to see continue.

Excellent post. Much good has been had here despite the setbacks. Also, if you get way down take a look at the new IPF as that will get you right back up off the ground real quick.

Sorry but there is no guarantee with the high school recruits. If anything we have learned through UAB, USU and now SMU its that to be an elite G5 you must embrace and win the transfer game. We recruited a juco defensive end that didn't have grades. SMU pulled in 17 top notch transfers and many of them were on the field including the DB transfer from UCLA who TOOK OUT our top WR and of course the QB Buchele who was just outstanding. WE MUST EMBRACE THE TRANSFER GAME. Ignoring it will not work.

IPF should also help things going forward.

But what about the pass rush? Seems like we are leaving these guys on an island for far too long. Our pass rush was significantly better last year.
