Solid points. Hey for both of our sakes I hope you turn out to be right. I can only assess what I have seen thus far and it is certainly early. Thanks again for visiting us and hope you come back often.

This is a bad loss and does not bode well for the rest of this season. Arkansas is in a complete rebuild and may be one of the worst teams in the SEC. The problem with all of these additions is we really don't appear to have a true point guard and it shows. There is very little team chemistry and hopefully that will develop as the season progresses.

This is just another reason I think we will look back and say why why oh why did we not do everything possible to maximize the career of a once in a lifetime quarterback?? NFL future opportunities are just another reason why this could come back to bite us. Kid has been running for his life all 4 years in C-freaking USA. Why?

UNT regents to hear proposal for on-campus golf practice facility

The North Texas board of regents will consider a proposal to build an on-campus golf practice facility during its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday. The proposal for the venue includes a clubhouse, hitting bays, a putting green and offices for UNT's coaches. UNT officials estimate the facility will cost between $2 and $3 million. It is slated to be built on an open piece of land near Apogee Stadium and will be named after longtime booster Jerome Max "Bruzzy" Westheimer. read more: https://dentonrc.com/sports/breaking-news-unt-regents-to-hear-proposal-for-on-campus/article_de2b805c-c653-5482-b9be-073ded1cb9f5.html

One thing I notice is they all redshirt. That isn't always the case for us. To me it means an overall consistency of depth and quality. The other thing is they work the juco's hard. We will add a juco here or there but not to the same level. I have always heard that the trimesters system they have for academics is a big advantage but I never really understood why. I think they just have a system of measurables that they stick to and they focus on guys they have a legitimate shot to land. They get on them early and stick with them.

They'd be crazy not to. Norvell is an outstanding recruiter and he will have Arkansas back up and running. It won't happen but I think Sonny at SMU and Coach Fritz at Tulane would be solid choices. They both can recruit.

VCU Men's Basketball Preview: Rhoades’ Army is Prepared The Virginia Commonwealth University’s men’s basketball team began the new season ranked No. 25 in the Associated Press’ Top 25 poll. The Rams are also widely viewed as the team to beat in the Atlantic 10 Conference. So expectations for this year’s Rams team are high. While that can be seen as a measure of validation for the program, it also means there is more pressure on Head Coach Mike Rhoades and his players, who are looking at a tough pre-Atlantic 10 schedule. Schedule-wise, four noteworthy tests are coming during November and December: Louisiana St. (AP No. 22) at home on Nov. 13; Purdue (AP No. 23) at a holiday tournament in Niceville, Fla., on Nov. 29 and either Florida St. or Tennessee (both have received a lot of votes in the AP poll) in Niceville on Nov. 30; at Wichita St. on Dec. 21, you can go here to see VCU’s entire 2019/20 schedule. read more: https://www.styleweekly.com/richmond/vcu-mens-basketball-preview-rhoades-army-is-prepared/Content?oid=15275794

I get this sentiment and I also share it but I do think there is another side to this story that needs to be told. I know you to be a very knowledgeable fan so hear me out and let me know your thoughts. So you come to UNT, after many of the bigger more prestigious academic schools pass you over. UNT believes in you and gives you a shot. You make the most of it. You study your ass off and do well. You do great in school and heading into your senior year with numerous academic awards and scholarships/opportunities after graduation you decide to transfer to a bigger more prestigious school that passed you by the 1st time. You finish up at that school and become very successful in life. Your degree says that schools name, the school that originally passed you over but decide to jump back into the picture when it became beneficial for them to do so. All of your classmates who participated in your ascension academically are now questioning themselves and wondering should they too look for greener pastures? Why did he leave us? Do you see anything wrong with this picture? I know the common reply is we do the same thing but I don't think that makes it necessarily right.
