He has to improve his accuracy especially in the long ball. He's a really smart valedictorian type of kid so my hope is the game will slow down for him. I have high hopes for him and hope we can keep him healthy.

Congratulations! Proud of you man.

DRC: Dickey included in Hall of Fame class
Harry replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Sources telling me Dickey can't be here for induction, however he is coming for their bye weekend which is when we play UTEP. -
Finally DD gets what he deserved for a long time!! Very happy about this.

North Texas Announces Innovative Creative Advisory Committee

Cool to see @BeyondTheGreen and @Graham getting recognition they deserve as well as Patty and others. -
We all know he's good - my question is how good can he be? What former UNT player (or any other player) does he remind you of? How can he improve his game? Say what you want about Benny as a coach, but this kid may turn out to be one of our better players we have had in the program. Will be fun to watch his career!

Just a question I thought of. Has the Russian guy joined the team? I haven't seen him in the practice vids yet. Would be interesting to know who is participating in these intense practices.

I feel that some - not all - of UTSA's fans seem bowed up against North Texas. Like they have a chip on their shoulder.

Hard not to be excited!

I see it as a positive thing for the conference and truthfully us. It emphasizes the fact that we cannot sit on our laurels anymore. I want to see the entire conference continue to build and succeed.

In anticipation of the coming 2017 season, we have just performed a new software update on the GoMeanGreen site. There are a number on improvements which are being offered on this update that we are excited about. As always with implementing new features, there will likely be some issues that arise and we ask that you bear with us as we address these fixes in the coming weeks. Please note that as part of the update, some of the search indexing features are being repopulated and this will take a few days to complete. In the past I have done a full download of all of the new features, however this time as we are still figuring everything out ourselves, I want to share everything in a piecemeal fashion and answer questions etc accordingly. For now, as we evaluate the updates, and which ones are the most useful, I wanted to share one item that you will notice and can begin using right away. "Reactions" is a component of the software which allows you to use new reactions to posts. This is above and beyond the typical +/- system we have used for many years. I thought this would be something we try and see how it works out. Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback on this and we will adjust accordingly after a period of evaluation. So, you can still do a +/- as before, but you can also now do the following: Like Positive (+1) Thanks Enabled Positive (+1) Haha Enabled Positive (+1) Confused Enabled Neutral Sad Enabled Neutral Upvote Enabled Positive (+1) Downvote Enabled Negative (-1)

Can't wait to see him this season.

Damn good research! Just hope the staff is doing similar things to drive data driven decisions. Just getting lucky on a Brandon Kennedy type of player is rare these days with all of the data available.
-
Unfortunately, that is what much of recruiting coverage has become. If you can generate revenue you will get promotion.

Makes two of us. That still stings. What stings more is Mac acted like it was no big deal.

It would be interesting to know if Frank Wilson was even considered for our job. Probably not. Seems like they locked into Littrell early on.
-
Yes I saw the same article. That said, they have positioned themselves very well for the next realignment which is important too.

I thought so too. There are so many academic departments who could partner up with the AD in a mutually beneficial way.
-
Sounds like a good concept. Students get valuable experience while helping the AD promote athletics to the community.
-
This is disappointing. I sure hope they will try to find a comparable candidate even if it takes more time.
