We always brought good crowds to New Orleans - surprisingly good crowds given that it was in the middle of the week etc... That may have played into their thinking although I honestly think we could have had similar if not better crowds at Shreveport.

Someone pointed out earlier, the depth and size FAU has is not as much attributable to Kiffin as it is to his prior FAU coach Charlie Partidge. Kiffin gets credit for putting it all together and adding some key transfers and recruits. You might remember that FAU and Kiffin stole one of our top recruits late in the game last year and that hurt. On the other side, Littrell doesn't get all of the blame for Mac's poor recruiting especially in the lines. Mac was clearly outrecruited by Partridge in his last couple of years. UNT admin deserves some of the blame for allowing Mac to stay in place for so long. This impacted our recruiting negatively and showed on the field yesterday. Mac went with a lot of jucos late to try and save his gig. Many of them never saw the field. My point is there is a system that you have to play to be successful in college football and it takes all parties (Admin, coaches etc) to be on the same page over a period of years execute it.

All he has to do is HIRE a big time recruiter. You have to pay for that but it is totally doable.

Baby B owned Harrell today. This is not close to the 2014 defense that Mac would lean on with a crappy offensive production and play calling. We sputtered our of the gate with some horrendous short 3rd down calls and lost momentum early JUST like last time. This is not a team we didn’t know anything about. We had film.

The first couple of series set the tone for the entire game. Harrell will get a better job but he got schooled by baby B today.

No offense but if we play like we did today Troy will kill us. They beat LSU this season. I love our fans but damn man we need to step down and understand where we are right now especially after todays debacle.
