Exactly. If we have a season where we challenge and/or win the regular season title, we're not gonna remember this game.

They just don't seem interested in playing this game. Reminds me of Southern Nazarene a couple years back. We won 31 games that season including the NIT. I wouldn't look too much into the score as long as we win.

An uninspiring win, but it seems every year you’ll see 1 or 2 of these and you can still have a good team.

I would think the big white dude could turn the ball over just as good as Sissoko.

I think the biggest weakness in the front for me has been not being able to set the edge as a defensive line. When your DEs are lined up more inside the tackles it’s harder to set the edge effectively, especially when some of those DEs are more like undersized DTs who aren’t as quick or hard to reach block. We have had a very soft edge and our LBs and safeties don’t do a great job with angles or understanding that you can’t bite on jab steps towards the middle part of the field when it’s obvious the runner wants to get outside you because that’s where you don’t have help defenders set up. Similarly on pass rush, we don’t set up good paths to the QB in the 3-3-5 stack because we have not been able to put pressure on tackles getting beat to the outside. And the blitzes never really had the same effect because blitzers are looking for a clean path to the QB and trying to avoid getting engaged by a lineman. Which is easier for a QB to manipulate than a DL’s path, and the blitzer vacates part of the field. Mccown for example was able to make one quick move up in the pocket, sometimes after baiting the blitzer a certain direction, and suddenly he had nothing but green grass for days. I think more of a 4-2-5 look would at least give us a chance to be more competitive setting the edges. I think that’ll go a long way and give us an easier chance at success given the caliber of athletes that are available at our level.

I dont reply often but this one seems out of line. Im sure there is more to the story than we are aware. Poor choice of titles for a thread. that being said, I will be watching and cheering for my school. The truth has a way of finding its way to us eventually.

He shouldn't get fired anytime soon. This is just his 2nd year. We should, in my opinion, give him at least 3 years.

Don't get to far ahead of our self we will have to #hit6 first. I would act like this bowl is bad. if your team was better we would be in a better bowl. like I said before, I do not care which bowl, just win.

111 years ago today, the North Texas State Normal football team took the field for the first time when they traveled to Fort Worth and played TCU. Not much to say other than hopefully we've found the bottom (attendance-wise and you know). Regardless of who the opponent is, 2,690 is not good. We still have our head above a 3K average, but not by a lot. Second game in a row with fewer fans than the previous game. Have the students already left for Thanksgiving break? Texas Wesleyan was a tougher test than expected. Are they better than people thought or.....? Will fans come out for Oregon State? We'll see.

My comment was directed at the coach/player personnel that chose it, i didn't know it came from the players. Who cares anyways, they're not reading my posts?

They let the seniors pick out what they wanted to wear for the last home game. Let it go.

The remnant cake is great. They take pieces of cake that were trimmed off other cakes, i.e. cakes baked in a square pan but cut into a custom shape. They then put on their fantastic icing so you don't see its been formed from pieces. It's also smaller so when I am in the mood for birthday cake, I don't have to wait for my birthday and its not so much that I prematurely die of diabetes. Candy Haven is cake heaven. GMG

I don't know. This just seems to have possible issues. People in sections 2xx or the wing are expected to get soft animals thrown all the way to the field. They're gonna' be bombing everybody (all 300 of them) in section 1xx. I guess they then re-throw them to the sideline. (Now picture cheerleaders wiping off nacho cheese and wringing beer/coke out of all the lovely bears.) Optionally, those in the upper levels could insert a weight into the toys to make them go farther (maybe a battery??). That outta' help (anybody from Philly in the house??!?!). Of course, there are MUCH worse ways it could go: Finally, I hope this gets some nice toys to many kids but I really wish it would have been marketed better.

I don't think it's fair to say he's done nothing with it. We had a really good recruiting class and the next one looks decent too and we've recruited DFW better than under Littrell. Also, the offense is much better than the last couple of years of Seth's tenure. Edit: Hey eyeball roller, suck my taint.

ECU didn’t play well against a very below average Tulsa last week for a win. I specifically watched that game because I love bad football and I am a glutton for punishment. Hence I am a NT football fan. I think this will be the first game the offense and the defense play well and the Mean Green blow out ECU for any easy win. my 2 cents 🙈…

Why do you feel the need to always post crap like this that doesn't even apply to us?

Wouldn’t particularly mind going to Frisco but I would hate to have to have to play WKU. Getting beat by a former conference mate would be so damn embarrassing. If we actually make a bowl, I just want an opponent that we can actually beat.

I don’t mind a local bowl game that is inexpensive to attend in person. Now, if we were having a 9 or 10-win season and really deserved something better that would be different. But it is not. Frisco is fine for this season.
