I would love too, but at 81 with severe spinal stenosis [narrowing of the spine in lower back]I have chronic pain and just can't walk that far from parking. The last time we played at Army[ we won ] I took my 15 year old grandson. Great trip!8 points

How can they say his arm was moving forward and can’t see McGill for a TD was practically an inch over the end zone? That’s BS!6 points

Sick and freaking tired of hearing people talk about Morris being an offensive genius. Stupid stupid stupid call to be in a shotgun from the 1-in line6 points

We fired Littrell for Littrell light. SL beat Army on the road with a true freshman QB in the rain with another coaches recruits coming off a 1 win season.5 points

Not taking the 3 points on our second drive is looking like it may cost us. Repeat of Navy last year.5 points

Here at North Texas, we don't believe in that sort of witchcraft.4 points

Right now, this game is on the offense. Defense has done what we’re at least hoping for. Offense continues to play like $hit. Unacceptable4 points

I have not been impressed by coach Morris’s game plan. Do some screen passes to the RBs if you want to get them going. Running the ball outright has been tough. CMo also needs to use his legs some IMO. That may keep this defense honest.4 points

The second is the more important. The non-TD was 50/50. The inability for five 300 pound men to move smaller guys one damn inch is pathetic.4 points

Should we count how many poor coaching strategic moves coach Morris calls to put this team in a bind?4 points

Someone figure out a way to get this man a golf cart ride from his parking spot to the stadium.4 points

If one is in Lewisville, just drive another 20 minutes and attend the game in person. Same beer. Better atmosphere.4 points

Is anyone planning - or thinking about - a road trip to Lake Charles? I realized today I'll be there Monday the 18th - making a casino trip Sunday thru Tuesday for my wife's birthday, so why not go?! I checked out the McNeese web site - tickets are only $10 or $15, and parking is free. I'd drop a lot more than that in a casino over two hours 🤑. https://mcneesesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule https://mcneesesports.com/sports/2023/10/3/basketball-ticket-info.aspx - go to "Single Game Ticket Pricing" https://mcneesesports.com/sports/2024/1/4/basketball-parking-map.aspx3 points

If the offense doesn’t lay a goose egg, we blow them out. The defense has done enough that we should be winning big here.3 points

But would that in any way make it okay to punch someone for saluting you?3 points

Army has 7 points and 118 total yards at the half. Sure didn't expect that. We should have the lead in this game.3 points
-
Exactly. You don’t pass up points early in the game. Another poor coaching decision that will come back to bite us3 points

That a way to gift Army the ball almost already in field goal position. So stupid!3 points

The AAC desperately wants Army to keep winning.3 points

When I was a Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill, Oklahoma we would bus basic trainees to any Army game that was close. We bussed well over 1000 to a game at TCU and returned to Fort Sill that night. Plus, when I was stationed at Fort Hood (Fort Cavazos now) MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) would provide tickets to Soldiers. Most of the people that seem like they are Cadets are probably not because it's cheaper to move local Soldiers than to pay to fly Cadets here and house them. People within three hours can come to the game and return without housing cost. Fort Sill and Fort Hood are both within 3 hours of Denton.3 points

The Dean if the USMA, does these videos before each game. Has been fun to watch this season. I am a proud Army vet and root for them, but not when they play the Mean Green. Here is to bringing on the Gloom Season! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCElx8zO9Rp/?igsh=MWY1bGxwY3g1MTlxeQ== I can only wonder if that is what Gen Custer thought before the battle of Little Big Horn!3 points

Not necessarily related to this game but one thing I am very thankful of this year is that North Texas got rid of that God awful we're not like everyone else commercial.2 points

So when the defense does step up, and let's give them credit, Morris calls a terrible first half for the offense2 points

Our athletic director needs to be on the phone at halftime informing the American that this game is being played under protest. There is absolutely no way these rests are not throwing the game. This looks pathetic for the American2 points

Yes that atrocious pass interference is in Caponi.2 points

I always wonder how many holds teams like Army get away with considering how many interior runs they have. Also that is not PI.2 points
-
Am I the only one that has no doubt Army will score again on this drive and quite possibly every drive during the game2 points
-
Even if we score here you have the ball on the one freaking inch line and you line up in a shotgun. So freaking tired of Morris's stupid ass calls2 points

Ridiculous. I hope Diego ends up paying whatever legal fees the NCAA incurs (as well as his own) to deal with this garbage.2 points

Thank goodness Brett didn’t give us the kiss of death by predicting us to win this week. I will always bleed green, but if we lose this week, I have to closer my fandom just for my son’s sake. My oldest(11)and I are going tomorrow and he cheers for unt because I cheer for unt. He sat in the middle of a huge tech contingency and supported us even though we got embarrassed, he has been to 8 games with me, and we have lost EVERY SINGLE ONE! I can’t keep doing this to him. My youngest is a bandwagoner, but I just can’t see my kid up for failure this early in life. we HAVE to win tomorrow, otherwise I will have to live in sheer agony and hide my fandom from him so he doesn’t have to constantly deal with heartbreak. We are already cowboys fans for goodness sakes.2 points

I’ve noticed this trend anecdotally for many years now, especially in the McCarney and Littrell eras. Seemed we played worse after a bye. Here’s hoping we’ve overcome that and learned to use bye weeks to our advantage. It makes sense, like others have said, that an Army bye would be much needed.2 points
