Sriracha won the Corgi race. And it wasn't even close. Immediately entered the transfer portal. GMG12 points

Yep. Earl looked pretty Sharpe. The freshman from China Spring has a very strong arm and he has good/very good acceleration. when he takes off to run. Mooney didn't impress me at all. The three guys that really got my attention were the converted WR, Shane Porter, #24 playing RB. They gave him a lot of reps. Very good moves at the line of scrimmage (changing direction) and sometimes pretty hard to bring down. Not bad for someone who is 177lbs. The second one is the transfer, Oscar Hammond, TE #23. He takes all of the pain out of losing Mr. Gumms to Arkansas. He goes after the ball and seemed to always catch it, and he turned it into lots of YAC. #3 Richard Rocquemore #81. Brought down two very long balls whilst being very closely covered.7 points

Earle looked the best. That said, they all threw balls that either were actually picked (2 pick 6’s) or should/would have been picked by teams in regular season action. Morris should be QB1 this fall. If not, I’m concerned about the team’s ceiling right off the bat. Lack of DL size and depth continues to be a problem. Can’t believe we didn’t aggressively address this in the portal in the off season. Crazy. Tackling in running situations seemed more consistent to me. Don’t know if that’s a product of less RB talent than last year or improvement in the defensive talent and comfort in scheme. Safeties are bigger and look more athletic than last year.5 points

Playing for CSM Constanta, Romanian national league. Looks like his team just made the playoffs. Duffy went for 10-6-6 in the last game. https://www.csmconstanta.ro/echipe/baschet/4 points

17-22 for 214 yards according to Vito for Earle. Pretty good percentage. My understanding is they made White play into the wind the whole game instead of flipping. Maybe because the lead was so big?4 points

Yes, Hammond was impressive. Farrar & Porter both looked good at RB. Heard Wesloski's name quite a bit on defense. Also Spruills did pretty good at safety.4 points

He deserves to be the starter if he beats out Chandler Morris.3 points

I’m good with fall competition. Whoever gives us the best chance to win is who I’d prefer to start.3 points

My Spring game takeaway: Chandler Morris will be QB1 by week 2 on campus.3 points

The answer is no. Yes, this weekend was terrible, but I think it is all mental. We take the number 7 team in the country to the wire and can't get past an average UAB team. That points to mentality. They have made way too many errors and stupid plays. That is all mental. Is it coaching as well, yes. I think DeLong has to get them focused again and I think he can. I think he needs to take a page from Jason Burton. Stop thinking about championships and think about winning each game. Championships will take care of themselves if you do that.2 points

Defense was flying all over the place. No missed tackles. Not sure how that really equates. Offense showed signs. frosh QB threw 2 pick 6’s in the first half, and came back with 2 good TD drives in the 2nd half. Looked pretty good. Throws a good ball. The picks were on out patterns, and were both good plays by the secondary. Receivers won most of the jump balls which is good/bad depending on which side of the ball you are on….but they were covered well I liked the format Really only 2 Qb’s played I didn’t see any injuries I give it a solid B2 points

My group said the exact same thing yesterday. How can they expect to compete with this? Frustrated!2 points

I think one was Cash and the other Reese. I’m saying Stone could have easily had one too. Had a throw to the sideline that was telegraphed and DB had a clean break at it. If I remember right, the WR was able to come back and make a play on the ball to save him. I guess the ultimate silver lining is that our DBs were flying around yesterday. Absolutely hunting INTs.2 points

Mid-range arm accuracy and quick release is much more important. One of the problems with Aune and Ruder was that sometimes they would throw the ball so hard it would hit the receiver in the hands or "bread basket" and bounce out.2 points

We better hope that he is more durable than when he was at TCU. OR that he can get rid of the ball quickly.2 points

These are just team rosters for today's game. Injured guys aren't on it. If you go to the official site.....Zach Evans is still on the roster.2 points

Extensive work at ESPN/ABC and CBs, got Rutgers into the B1G, and most importantly: The AAC needs someone to sell it and create sponsorships to continue to raise its profile. This guy looks like he knows how to get that done. For those worried about the Rutgers scandal: Seems like he should have fired the basketball coach instead of suspending him. He wasn't involved in the incident.2 points

Reading green numbers on black jerseys is tough but I believe Mooney threw the first pick 6. Were official stats every published anywhere? GMG1 point

I’ve seen a couple of DL offers sent out the last few days. The coaches seem to think it’s an area of need. Would have liked to get in some guys for spring ball. We’ll see if we can land some contributors…1 point

....and how many close calls like that happened to Mason Fine during his career?1 point

He also threw multiple passes that 100% should have been intercepted but either his receiver saved him or the DB didn’t make the play.1 point

I didn’t eyeroll, but the number of staff members does seem high. I think it has the entire football staff, though. Recruiting, GA’s, etc.1 point

Finally broke through and scored our first run in the series....in the fifth. Up 1-0. Nice rbi single by Cierra drove in Lexi Cobb. Skylar has pitched four shutout innings. Got out of a bases loaded jam in the 4th. I personally think our team needs to be a lot more aggressive at the plate. We take way too many first pitches. And we get way too many strike outs looking. Just my opinion.1 point

I wonder how many of those 2000 players were D1 starters vs bench warmers? I'd guess 20% vs 80%.1 point

Interesting. Noticed a few names are missing. Where is the RB we got from Minnesota?1 point

I'm not knocking going the D2 route...more that Wells appears to just be an off-brand Jason Edwards based on those shockingly similar stat lines. at UM, Kai shot almost 50% from the floor, 42% from 3pt and averaged 19.6ppg, 4.7 rpg, 4.3 apg at UNT Kai shot around 40% from the floor, 31% from 3pt and averaged 12.3ppg, 3.1 rpg, 3.2 apg I think that is a pretty reasonable expectation of regression in production stepping up to the D1 level. Kai was also 6'4" and contributed a ton on the defensive end. I guess if Wells is the 6th man Edwards was meant to be, there's value added...I just see another undersized, inefficient volume shooter and get nervous about fit here1 point

Rewbean was never even a top 2 guard on any of the teams he played on at UNT. How are you going to make him a Hall of Famer?1 point

Nah you’re on to something here. Be that middle ground between JUCO and high major ball. Go to these kids and say hey give me 2 years. We’ll win some games, you’ll improve your game, then you’ll go get paid. But obviously have your core culture guys that are around longer.1 point
