Our entire GameDay experience is a joke the more you go to away games. I get a bunch of downvotes every time I say it, but our games aren't engaging. I assume a bunch of UNT homers that never go to away games are downvoting. DJ Question Mark should be fired, our AV team is a joke, we rarely show replays, our band as talented as it may be isn't fun, and there tons of quiet periods during the game where you can hear a pin drop. The only GameDay experience I've been to that is worse are games at Rice.10 points

Bronco *Frickin* Mendenhall https://footballscoop.com/news/bronco-mendenhall-outlines-what-hes-looking-for-in-his-next-job Selections from article: "I would argue there's not a more prepared, rested, and focused head coach on Earth in Power 5 than I am right now," When asked how he'd respond to a hypothetical AD who asked him why he wouldn't step away again two years down the line? "All that's happened is solidifying my true intent, which is delivering, I think, really, really strong results, especially to rebuilding programs. BYU was struggling when I inherited that program and we won for a long time. UVa, that was a struggling program when we started, and five bowl-eligible seasons in six years hadn't been done in like 22 years. That's going to happen again wherever I get to coach and it will happen for a long time, simply because of the pause. I love developing young people; I don't think there's a more impactful way to do it (than college football.) And, man, I'm young. I'm only 56, that's only getting warmed up." Later in the article.... "The level to me isn't as important as the purpose and the alignment. I think the alignment and purpose excludes level and includes leadership. Any program that wants exceptional results on the field -- they have to want that. That has to happen because that helps the young people become and be supported. If they want young people treated really well, who do exceptional in school, who give back to the community, who are actually looking to add value to the place that they are and are aligned with that place while they're winning games, yeah, the level isn't as important as the alignment. The kids have to become something exceptional, otherwise it's just a game, and I'm not okay with it just being a game." And... "If there's great alignment with an exceptional candidate that fits a place with almost guaranteed results, man, I would look hard at that." For the Wikipedia sleuths.... Haters gonna hate, just throwing this out there since his name hasn't been mentioned on this board since 2021, maybe for good reason which I'm sure I'll be educated on shortly, but just saying the name BRONCO. FRICKIN. MENDENHALL. Goes hard! Could be worth a look! #GMG7 points

I don’t care how many games they win. Seth leaving Aune in the game is a fireable offense.6 points

Bill Mercer would be chewing this broadcast crew a new one, and deservedly so.6 points

My God this broadcast is awful. The announcers are OK. But, the cameras and score updates look like something out of the 80's Soviet era TV (CCCP).6 points

I thought we were supposed to have a great sports broadcast journalism program or something. Why is the production so Mickey Mouse every time? Sound fluctuating between loud and soft, between the booth and back to the crowd, plus the aforementioned wrong records.6 points

Listen to me, I'm telling you all now so you can take note. We can beat any team in this conference as long as they drop 4 sure TDs.5 points

As a Texans fan I can officially say that Aune is the Matt Schaub of college football.5 points
-
Technically, that should be pick 6 #2 of the game.5 points

From trying to make it 35-7 before the half to 28-21 in just over 3 minutes. Aune you are taking years off my life today.5 points
-
This game should be 35-7 after running it down FAU’s throat to end the half. Instead, FAU is back in the game, carrying momentum into halftime.5 points

If a player is going to transfer, or not sign because we refuse to play a "song" where a guy is saying he's a girl's plumber, then that dude has other issues.5 points

This is horrible LOL I'm waiting for a hot mic cuss word at any second5 points

The ESPN broadcast says FAU is 11-0 and we're 5-6. If we beat another 11-0 team at home, will you forgive SL for his past sins?5 points

we must not have any money to fix anything these days. Looks like SL will be back?5 points

On GameDay, Lance Leipold of KU said they are in the victory business, not the moral victory business. I wish our coaches had the same mentality smh5 points

You are spot on. Truly an eyesore on Wren's resume I don't quite understand why they haven't at least tried to do things differently.4 points

This broadcast is hard to watch....like it's being run by a bunch of interns who woke up today hungover and forgot they had a game to cover.4 points

"We commend Coach Littrell on how he finished the season, and while that may be good when compared to our past, we are raising the bar at North Texas and investing in a program that should go to the next level. The first step in this process is hiring a new football coach who will take us to where we expect to be. We want to thank Coach Littrell for his part in building this program and wish him the best."4 points

I’d laugh, then cry, then I’d give my children Christmas Presents with nothing inside them so that my children will know what it’s like to be a UNT fan during the littrell era. it’s a pretty gift on the outside but it’s empty inside3 points

Looking forward to meeting one of "The Chosen" North Texas fans........😎3 points

Helmet will look really cool up close, but from the stands or on TV, you won't be able to tell what the heck is going on there.3 points
