We're complaining about an OC who led our offense to 37.5 pts/game with a mediocre offensive line? I swear, some of y'all will never be happy.7 points
-
Let's tap the brakes on that kind of statement until we make sure our numbers keep increasing.7 points

I know that a lot of people do this anyway, but one day I would like to see "Glory to the Green and White" sung A Capella by the home crowd. The band could do it's usual intro/lead-in, and then the crowd would take over from there.6 points

The new tradition I want to see is winning football seasons with average attendance at 80% or higher of capacity.4 points

UTEP didn’t even win a game this year and they still averaged more in attendance than FAU.... Wow3 points

Glad we captured that Florida market by adding FAU and FIU. And Charlotte was a great addition too.3 points

For those that watch Game Day, you know who the Bear is. Said UNT struggles with prolific offenses but Troy is not a prolific offense then said UNT doesn't turn the ball over a whole lot He picked UNT in the upset He's generally been pretty good in his picks. We'll see2 points

This is all true unless Shanbour comes in next year and beats him out... Sorry...had to after all the fall camp talk2 points

Anyon driving heads up I20 down to one lane starting at exit 544 not sure how long or what the delay is. Will update2 points

....AND for one of those years all of our opposing QB's had to be seriously in fear of their health, with Joe Greene and Cedric Hardman glaring at them from across the line.2 points

For a couple of years, Ramsey also dumped off to our first 1K rusher Leo Taylor. Keep in mind that Steve Ramsey's numbers were accomplished in three years. Freshman were not allowed to play varsity ball back in Steve Ramsey's days. And since he was a juco transfer, all of Vidal Carlins were accomplished in two.2 points

The stats are amazing considering the "cold spells" he suffered through this past year. Plus, with Martin coming on board, he will probably transfer out to SE Louisiana A&M Poly.2 points

Ok ....I think I see that. Then there's no Big 12 and no one of UT/OU stature to bring them back up. Then Baylor and TCU have to have someone want them.....2 points
-
I've seen this said on here before...I'm trying to understand the reasoning. In my mind....there is NO WAY IN HELL TCU and Baylor get left behind. Why do we think this? TCU and Baylor both have almost made the playoff. They have loads of money, history, recent success and fan support. I just want to understand why some think this. I'm curious....2 points

If I'm investing that kind of $$ into a kid on scholarship forget your preference. We're gunna protect our investment, you figure a way to make it work. IMO.2 points

I'm really enjoying the updates from New Orleans. And also....seeing the looks on their faces and all the things they're getting to do....looks like they're getting treated really well and having a great time. I was originally against the team going to the NO Bowl....but I get it now. I get why they had their minds set on taking the team on a trip like this and I'm glad they're getting to experience all of that. They deserve it. Now go get that 10th W!2 points

There are sooo many hard to believe numbers here... Rice averaged 19k??? SMU, 19k??? 16k is why Liberty absolutely had to be FBS? 15K is why Coastal Carolina made the move? 13 different teams under 15k (thought that was the line to be able to stay inFBS)1 point

Instant analysis: It will be tough. They are a good defensive team that likes to play slow. We are very similar in styles. I think the winner of this game may very well have a score in the 50's.1 point

Oh, Ive been to San Diego before fellas. It's just nice to get a game out here. Last time the Mean Green came out to to west coast was the tournament at Loyola Marymount.1 point

Little known fact, but they had to amputate Mason's leg below the knee at halftime of the Iowa game. That is the contraption that attaches his prosthetic leg. They disguised it to look like a brace. Tough son of a gun.1 point

Mean Green will have to win a road game if they want to head to conference play with a winning record. Let's see if we get it done Saturday.1 point

If UNT can increase attendance by 10-12% again next year, they will average sellouts. Keep working on the home schedule to make it more attractive, and keep winning.1 point

I was there the whole week of Thanksgiving. It was a little warmer than normal and now the wildfires are still going a little north of the city. There several great restaurants on Harbor Island or Shelter Island. Go check it out! Go Mean Green!1 point

I don't think anyone disagrees with the idea that we should reach out to those areas. However, playing any games in venues other than Apogee needs to have a more compelling reason and a clearer benefit. I think those suggesting we play elsewhere underestimate the budgetary and cultural impact games at Apogee have.1 point

I think this is where she wants to be. I had a conversation with her and this seems like her dream job. I just think that eventually we will have to pay her more money. Like everything else, money talks and BS walks.1 point
