Since the Army game. This team looks looks nothing like the team we saw against Army. Not sure what has happened, but they've definitely regressed.10 points

No team currently in C-USA should be able to hold us to zero yards in the 1st quarter of a game. That's not asking too much of our coaching staff and team. I didn't expect us to win. I even conceded we could get beaten badly. But zero yards in the 1st quarter? That is completely unacceptable.10 points

I love littrell but i haven't been sold on Mason Fine or Graham Harrell. I think we could possibly see upgrades to these two next year.8 points

This may be acceptable if we were playing Alabama, but not WKU. We should NEVER be losing to a conference team 31-0...AT THE HALF!8 points

Team is still a year away from being competitive in every game. WKU is the class of CUSA.8 points

I believe this is the right staff to lead us to great things. I know we have experienced much losing in our recent past. I am tired of it as much as anyone, but to expect a coach to turn things around in year one down fifteen scholarships is not possible. I know in this day in age people want things right now, but I do believe if we can be patient great things are coming. Patience will be necessary. Keep your heads and spirits up Green Guys. Great things are happening within the athletic dept and university. If we can hold out a little longer we will realize what we desire. Success on the gridiron will be ours. I have already seen gains from last year. Keep your eye on the prize.6 points

he has 68 scholarship players. I am way to busy to do the research but I can almost guarantee half had no other D1 offer.... We may have 12-14 guys on our entire roster who had more than 5-8 offers. This is going to take time. The fact that we even have a chance to go bowling in year one is absolutely incredible! We got smoked by two of the top teams in CUSA. Is that acceptable absolutely not, but when your QB is running for his life every play and there is no run game, it makes for a long day. It only adds to that when your corners refuse to keep WR in front of them and get burned over the top consistently, again by two of the best WR in CUSA.4 points

Harry I respect your opinion, but why should UNT be held to a different standard than other FBS schools. Many, many coaches take over dumpster fire programs and turn them around quickly. Hopefully year two brings even more success, maybe Littrell is a victim of his own early success, few of us saw 4 wins. So call me already spoiled, but tired of hearing maybe next year. We have heard that every year since DD left, with exception of 2013.4 points

Not true. You should try drinking the cool aid sometime. Duke has 4 wins and has to beat Pitt or Miami to get to 5 Northwestern has 5 wins and needs to beat Minn or Ill to get to 6 Vanderbilt has 4 wins and needs to beat Ole Miss or Tenn to get to 5 Army has 5 wins and must beat Navy to get to 6 If we can win either of our last two, we have a REALLY good chance. After 1-11, I'll take any bowl for any reason. No shame here.4 points

I'm still not happy with the physicality and effort being put forth by our wide receivers. We are losing opportunities to give sparks and momentum to the offense. Put a stop to the drops and grow a backbone when you hear footsteps. Fight for the ball.4 points

I can see both sides of the argument here. To me there's no shame losing to LA Tech and WK...they're good...really good in comparison to our conference and G5's. The alternative to Fine is Alec Morris and we saw how he performed earlier this season and no question Fine is the best option right now IMO. I'm not really sold on Graham Harrell either and maybe it's b/c any interview I see of him or video of him talking/coaching to players something to me seems off but maybe it's just me.3 points

Fine may develop into an amazing QB but I've been questioning why Morris hasn't hit the field for any considerable playing time considering how Fine has performed the last few weeks. He's a 5th year senior QB for Christ sakes, I refuse to believe he's that bad. But at NT, you never know. I'm also in the camp that's questioning Harrell & his play calling. However, I know this team has bigger issues than just one position. Recruiting and solid coaching will correct it. Army isn't that good either. They might win one more game....3 points

Stayed home all day to watch the game and never could get it on ESPN3. Thanks new CUSA commissioner for your superior negotiating skills.3 points

Take it how you want it, but you should never make negative comments about kids coming into the program. I am sure the coaching staff would love to hear that a kid decommitted because of negative people around the program. Recruits get on this board and read things that people are saying about them.3 points

I think all of us here are greatly impressed with what the staff as done with getting us to 4 wins... But what I think all of us want is 5 wins.. The team has not shown any improvement and has regressed or even come back to earth after those Marshall and Army Wins... But the disappointment and frustration with a lot of us is just needing 1 win or 2 ideally to get into a bowl.. Yes we didn't think we would challenge let along win vs LAT or WKU.. but UTSA wasn't that close either. Hopefully we can get 1 win but hopefully 2 to finish out the year and build some positive signs to the off-season/recruiting and hopefully a bowl W3 points

1. NorthTexan95 is a dude who tracks this program and our scholarship situation as closely as anyone despite being 1K plus miles away. He has never tried to dub himself a recruiting expert, so not sure who you're quoting there. 2. Experts, as in plural? One guy being logically critical of a recruit means "recruiting experts" are not excited to have him next season? This is both a good justification for a bad game, and potential cause for concern at the same time. Every player is a D1 guy at the next level, obviously. So this is a good test for a QB who is about to go from playing defenses with basically no D1 players to playing in college against only D1 players. Unfortunate to see him not do so well on that test, but also not the end of the world.3 points

We knew UTSA on the road would be tough. We knew that La Tech and W. K. were probably losses and wouldn't be close. We knew this was coming. That being said, if I knew 10 weeks ago that we would have a chance to beat two struggling teams and go to a bowl.... with this roster.... I would have gladly taken it. I like where we are and I like where we are going. See everyone on Saturday. Beat Southern Miss!!!2 points

I am not as down on Fine as many seem to be. How quickly we forget that he did not have an incompletion in his first 15 attempts last week. He is young and learning and willing to put in the work and will only get better. Love his maturity and leadership.2 points

To put it in a little more perspective...The Army game was amazing. But, today, I'm in San Antonio and went to see Army vs Notre Dame. Notre Dame has had a bad year, and they man handled Army. Army had like 13 Passing yards all day. They were triple option seem to fool everybody the beginning of the year, but once everyone including UNT studied tape, they just aren't THAT impressive. So here's my thought on Fine, and it's not that complicated. Guys, he's young, and in high school, he was amazing. Now he's on a fairly mediocre team, with an O-Line that can't protect him. I really think that a lot ofthis is mental. Hes "Mason Fine", but he's still a true freshman that's struggling to lead a team that's not that great. So he needs some help to find a way to deal with that as well as improve physical mechanics. It'll get better. He's only going to be a Freshman once. I just hope we can get him better protection. He's balzy, but a guy his size can only get sacked so many times.2 points

This is sad, troubling, and insensitive. However I believe this type of "behavior" isn't isolated to SMU... Thank goodness my children are young. I am not sure I want to pay to subject them to the lunacy that is professed by academia and associated out of touch administrators on campuses across this nation. Hopefully there are some good places left. However they don't make the news... Strange days brothers. Strange days.2 points

NOOOOO! This is terrible news as we've reached critical time with 4 wins and 2 games left. Wilson is a stud, and Ivery is a great compliment. Gonna need Tucker and Wyche to step it up and help carry the load.2 points

I wish we had some game changing WR. And a formidable O Line. And an at least average CUSA QB. Wish list to hopefully get in the next four years.2 points

Me and @El Paso Eagle said this during the UTSA game and everyone said oh you guys hate fine/don't believe in fine... No we do believe in Fine but he isn't playing well and is in fluke... Bring in someone else to try and spark us or if anything give Fine a series or more to just recollect himself. But we had 5 weeks to get 2 wins to get to 6 to get to the required 6, but most likely needed 5... The sad thing is, if Mason is out the rest of the year and who knows how long Wilson is out(they said for sure he will miss USM) it will come down to people saying Morris couldn't do it and he gets the blame... But been saying it for awhile and glad others are starting to see and say it as well..2 points

I find it sad that our 170lb freshman quarterback has bigger stones than our 230lb 5th year senior. Just truck somebody for the damn first down! This isn't the SEC, you are just as big as their linebackers for crying out loud. Play to win the damn game.1 point

Or it could be that they are down to only 2 healthy QBs... with Fine Spraining his AC Joint.. Guys in the NFL sometime require surgery for this injury.. So yea lets lose Morris and then have to move back Means or Chum or even yet get O'hara out there and possibly burn a RS if he is getting it this year... But Morris did come in and pass the ball and the WRs let him down(again) with them dropping passes... and the OLine not blocking.. oh and Quinn did make it into the game1 point

Big thanks to @Wag Tag for donating Southern Miss tickets to the cause. These are club seats with a parking pass, folks. Don't miss out on this watch party and an opportunity to win!1 point
