Who wouldn't want to campaign with a pedophile? He can play the guitar!!!! No gays though... Plz.7 points

First and foremost he was recruited and signed by Mike Canales. Our illustrious OC has seen plenty in his film studies from high school and beyond to warrant giving him a scholarship or he wouldn't have bothered. He broke his collarbone during the season at Navarro and only played in six games. Yet, in those six games he threw the ball 149 times with a 63% completion record and only ONE interception. Included in that was a post-recovery bowl game which he started and his team won. Lastly, he is the tallest at 6-5 and can see the field while in the pocket. He has the size, the arm strength and the accuracy to be a FBS quarterback.5 points

At the very least, Rv should get Benford to take a pay cut like ken McDonald did at wku.4 points

. That is how you judge people.???? You keep posting Christian comments which I don't object to except schools are not churches and which group do you want to run them ( that is the big problem ) .. ..... Nugent's history sure isn't about good family values or Christian principles. Be consistent. . .4 points

Hope you enjoy losing. A lot. Hey, you'd have a BCS-buster team for the Cialis Future Husbands & Fathers Bowl though!3 points

I saw the Nuge open up for Kiss back in '87, and he was fantastic. I haven't seen him since, but he had been around a while then; so I'm not surprised he can still burn up a fretboard. As far as him personally, he's always been a freak. And most rockers back then, and probably now, had few qualms about sleeping with underage groupies (See "What's Your Name" by Skynyrd). It's not okay, but you would probably have to quit listening to rock and roll altogether if you wanted to quit listening to musicians who had slept with underage girls.3 points

Actually its 3A and below. The key factor is footspeed. First thing outside of frame, height and weight that college recruiters look at. If guys who play Oline in college had that quality, they wouldn't be Olinemen. Watch high caliber college and NFL DTs and besides their size, what's the first thing that jumps out at you?2 points

This is how Duke does it: Athletics $1,000,000 will establish an endowment supporting an associate or assistant coach. $2,000,000 will establish an endowment supporting a head coach in a sport other than football or basketball. $5,000,000 will establish an endowment supporting the head coach of football, men’s basketball, or women’s basketball. $5,000,000 will establish an endowment supporting the athletic director.2 points

Folks...we will have a Coach Mac autographed photo or two as well as long as some other UNT and Non-UNT stuff. Jusat come out to the event and take a look and bid as your heart desires! Besides...you get to watch a pretty entertaining basketball game...and the half-time entertainment is worth the visit as well. We will have the annual half court 50/50 shot contest for anyone wanting to try their hand...$1 per shot...and the pot is split 50/50 with the winner and Cheer Team. I also hear that the Cheer Team may just demonstrate their National Competition Routine for us at half-time as well. BE THERE! IT'S FUN....It's for a great cause. AND...don't forget...we all head to Rudy's for some food/drink and awards presentations after the game. Lots of Mean Green fun not to miss!2 points

Thanks to both of you guys for bidding...this is really good news and the support for our Cheer Group is appriciated BIG TIME!2 points

Remember that as we continue to see a level of high profile incoming transfers that it is a sign that we are considered a legitimate destination that still provides a chance to pursue their dream of eventually playing in the NFL. The perception is slowly changing. Now we are considered a viable transfer spot for former high profile players. As they have success on the field it shows others that they too can have success here. That helps both with recruiting and national perception.2 points

This isn't something to gloat over as it could happen to us. When you are depending on 18 to 21 year-old males to always show the best judgment, you are asking for trouble. I am pleased when I see Coach Mac asking the team not to embarrass themselves, the team or the school after each game. But eventually, someone is going to do something dumb.2 points

We are gonna have some really nice backups behind my boy Fred.2 points

I feel that the "coaching" job done by Mac, Chico and the others on his staff has been top notch. I also feel that our coaches make very good use of every ounce of ability in the players we have (or had). The only question I have with Mac and his staff, has to do with them being able to increase the base talent level and keep it going. They do a great job with what they have. But, can they raise the bar in obtaining talent ? TD recruited some pretty good players. Mac and his guys made them very good football players, better athletes and better academic students.2 points

If its anything like his concert I saw recently on AXS TV, I'd save my money unless I was a far right conservative. It came off as more of an hour long service at the church of neo-conservatism with some rock hymns sprinkled in.2 points

Tough for me to say that he is blowing his shot at starting based on eight columns in a spreadsheet.2 points

Skepticism is a good thing. Skepticism means with-holding judgement until you understand the evidence. Science denial is a bad thing. Science denial is disagreeing with the science because it threatens your religion, your economics, your preconceptions.2 points

Can't wait to vote for Dan Patrick. Christian first, Conservative second, Republican third. My four favorite words are christian, conservative, republican and Texas. Throw in an eagle caw at the end and i'm sold. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZtJZoXUOmg&feature=youtu.be2 points

give this a listen: It also goes for left-wing folks who choose to fund and believe what they want. Politicians are bad people on the whole. Doesn't matter which side you like.2 points

Ironic ain't it? The worst football coach in our history. So bad he couldn't even win #1 worst coaching hire in DFW.2 points

I think it will be Mini Mac. Dajon looks like he needs some meat on his bones. He looks small and prone to injury, and the workout reports certainly do not help his cause. I don't really know much about the other three's playing style.1 point

Robert Balling, Sherwood Idso, Chip Knappenbergee, Patrick Michaels, and Sallie Baliunas are just a handful of many who have peer reviewed published work that doubts man made global warming. But the global warming fear mongers (including John Kerry) ignore this work and choose to believe what they want to believe (although for Kerry, I'm sure it has far more to do with politics than belief). People like GTWT who want to lie to you and say this is complete science have bought the political sell hook, line, and sinker. They will tell you that there isn't one doubt that it is happening and that we will suffer dire consequences in the future. It's the politics of fear. It's been practiced for years. This is just a new face on an old, old game.1 point

Sadly, this can be said for a large chunk of last year's season ticket holders, single game ticket purchasers, and students who actually get in free. But keep moving, nothing to see here (and I mean nothing).1 point
