I missed the blurb about Petersons big news. Could someone cut and paste that for me?6 points

So I got a little bored this weekend and had nothing better to do, so I made a fan video for the upcoming season. Anyways, just thought I'd share. I'm in no way a professional. Football season needs to get here already! Fixing the bass issue now. Should have another version soon.4 points

Please educate me.....I don't understand why you are so specifically against the two games in Iowa City. Since I have been following the team we have played our big money games at OU in 2007, at LSU in 2008, at Bama in 2009, at Clemson in 2010, at Bama in 2011 and at LSU in 2012. What is the difference between playing two games in Iowa City versus playing two games at LSU and two games at Bama? We have a much greater chance of being competitive against Iowa than the SEC teams.3 points

It took me a couple of days, but Army of Mom is in. This will be her first GMG game to play in. Size large shirt.3 points

So...you decided to try and attack our deepest and most well regarded position? You DO realize we have two five star receivers (Greenberry and USC transfer Ambles who started for the Trojans as a true freshman) and a bunch of other speedsters right? You're slipping Emmitt, you can do better than this. Step your game up next time. I'll be back tomorrow. Edit: Well if it's not him, then there's no point of me using that.2 points

The two Iowa games were announced in July 2009 which was also pre-Apogee. The final approval step for Apogee was the Texas state funding approval which was in September 2009.2 points

I am probably one of the few here that is excited about playing Iowa and not just because it is my alma mater. This is a road game against a power conference team that the Mean Green can win. The Hawkeye program has been down the last three seasons with records of 8-5, 7-6 and 4-8. DMac coached teams always play tough against the Hawkeyes with him beating usually the top 25 ranked Hawkeyes six times while he was at Iowa State. As for the issues with two games in Iowa City with no return to Denton It would not surprise me with the Big Ten changing to a nine game conference schedule in 2016 that the 2017 game is bought out by the Hawkeyes.2 points

I love AA but Hardman recorded 38 sacks his senior year and was a first round draft pick (9th overall pick). There is nobody even close. If you include unofficial sacks (those before 1982), he is SF all-time sack leader.2 points

What most people fail to realize is that it's Congress, not the President, that controls the purse strings. On that basis and since World War II, Democratic Congresses have contributed 7.5 trillion to the national debt. Where the Democrats were in control three of the four years the national debt was 1.5 trillion. Where there were two years of Democrat-control and two years Republican during a four year term the figure was 5 trillion. In the ten years where the Republicans controlled both houses the total deficit was 2.4 trillion. Finally in the years where the Republicans controlled Congress three of the four years the total was .688 trillion (but it was only two times). Note: I recorded the figures but not the source. I found it by googling national deficit. A researcher was responsible for the figures which as I recall was based on 1982 dollars. The only way that we can gain control and hold the president responsible is to give the president the power to line item veto. Pork may be a relatively small part of the deficit but it adds up. Another help would be to give any bill that is not an emergency, ample time to be reviewbefore it's voted on. Pelosi's "You have to vote for the bill to find out what's in it" was the worst case of fiscal irresponsibility in my memory.2 points

I hope Vito's eyeballs are a little off, being Gardner was 6'4 and our possible 6'10 center being described as a skinny version of Odufuwa a 6'8 player.2 points

Unless they are on the court playing against D1 college players, the "eyeball" test doesn't mean a thing (unless you notice a player listed at 6'10" is actually 6 6").1 point

Expect at least one more before 2019. With all the no-return away games this AD has committed us to, the only options are to by a home game (like we did with Idaho this year) or schedule more money games (if you have to schedule a paid away game with not return because you have boxed yourself in schedule wise, you mught as well get as much money as possible), hence the Tennesse game in 2015 that was just announced. 2 money games in 2015. It's like we ARE Monroe.1 point

That's so weird, I was thinking about him yesterday, because I was thinking about the All-Century team and remembered how insane his stats were and wondered what he was doing over the last few decades. Odd timing, but now I know...1 point

.. --In 2001 when Clinton left.. debt was 5.4 trillion after 200+ years... In 2009 when Obama walked in the debt was about $11 trillion... since then Congress has changed very little of what was happening in 2001-2009. and in 2009 things were such a mess with the bail outs, poor economy and less tax revenue due to the severe drop in DOW. 6 of those 8 years the GOP controlled both houses and the White House... 2009-10 are poor years to judge anything due to problems inherited (less tax money because of fewer people working, and lot less capital gains) and for several years since then GOP controlled one house and wants to pass nothing but more tax cuts... [ when you are in debt... you decrease income?? ] Yes I hate taxes too... but if you want to provide for the common DEFENCE, have a stable country, and do everything mentioned in Constitution .. taxes are necessary ... just not for doll museums (a GOP earmark) and other foolish things. .. .1 point

Easy. K-9 vitamin deficiencies as well as K-9 tooth decay coincide with global warming because they are byproducts of the increased air temperature that George Bush created when he used his septor to cause hurricane Katrina due to his disdain for Kanye West. Didn't you know the oil drilling created the earthquakes that caused the catastrophic tsunamis that killed so many people in Japan and Indonesia? T Boone and W have blood and dog cavities on their hands.1 point

I don't think the greenies even know how much of a "carbon footprint" they make. Nor do I think most of them really care. I think they are mainly driven by the desire to simply oppose oil companies for the sake of opposing them. The majority of them have no idea how many petroleum-based products they use daily. I don't think even a tenth of them realize how many petroleum-based products they use daily. And, it benefits them greatly. I still see them driving cars. I still see them living in asphalt shingled houses. They wear shoes and permanent press clothing. They - some of them - still use hygiene products. And, on and on and on, on, and on. The beat don't stop until the break of dawn. I'll take them seriously when the streets are flooded with bicyclers and pedestrians, and they are living in hovels and caves, hunched over campfires eating the food they killed or harvested themselves. Otherwise, they are just silly people consuming and using many petroluem products daily while railing against them. Here's something all greenies should do: go to Nicaragua or some other third world country without strong oil companies producing life enhancing products for them. Go down there and live with a minimal "carbon footprint" and other such nonsense. Hypocrisy. That's all it is with these greenies. There is no way any of them, in spite of all of their spit and vemon, will ever abandon the petroleum product in America that make their lives easier. Shut up until you live in a cave, live with fire as your main source of energy, and are sustaining yourself on what you kill and grow. Buttholes. Ted Nugent is leaving less of a "carbon footprint" than most of the greenies and lefties who rail against him. Ding dongs. (P.S. - Speaking of Ted, guitar strings are made with petroleum-based products. So...all of those protest singers...they are using petroleum based products to oppose petroleum producers. Yes, it's that laughable. Beardo the Weirdo ranting on the corner with his beat up guitar has his hands all over petroleum products.)1 point

I am a card carrying member of the GOP and I understand volcanos are the largest source of carbon emissions on planet earth. Global warming is a serious problem right now, on Mars. Al Gore should have stuck with banning Two Live Crew albums instead of amateur climatology, I guess he needs something to bitch about to feel relevant. Finally, thank goodness the industrial revolution ended the last ice age 10,000 years ago. Please, bring science up in the global warming debate, it would be a welcomed change. Planet earth never had periods of warming and cooling in its estimated 4.6 billion years? We have been keeping data for less than 100 years or so? (Seconds in geological terms.) It's funny how legitimate scientists don't get air time when they speak against the expert opinions of actors and politicians. I am all for recycling and keeping land, water, and air clean but the global warming crowd should be ashamed of the verbal diarrhea they spew. (Example: Moronic Congressman claiming Moore, OK was caused by Republicans fault. Or Al Gore claiming the record setting snowfall recently is caused by warming...seriously..., the laughable UN even admitted they had to change data and cook the books to make global warming look like an issue, and on and on...)1 point

--- I am not sure I would call the Pilgrims geniuses... That landed on the Mass. coast in December ( not warm a weather month) ... out of water, food and unable to grow any. Obviously no housing and weather was terrible to even build any. The only reason they survived is that there was an Indian that could speak English due to knowing previous Cod fishermen and he helped them find food to eat.... Most of the colony died before the next year.. --- As for Freedom of religion, they did want to believe as they wanted but the Puritans did not celebrate Christmas or Easter and before long were hanging people as witches and heretics if they believed differently. So much for freedom of religion... --- Jamestown had been founded about 15 years earlier and the recent findings don't picture them very well either... early settlers were tough but often fleeing a bad situation... I would not classify these as geniuses... Now the people that declared our independence and later set up the constitution in 1789 may have been.... but conservative they weren't.... Tories were the conservatives ... those conservatives liked things as they had been and did not want any change... The people who composed the Constitution were very Progressive and established a type of government that had not existed until then. ..1 point
