I'd trade every LED display, center-hang scoreboard, re-worked lighting arrangement, sidewalk re-concreting and sound-system upgrade for the one change the Super Pit really needs...4 points

He definitely snapped the pic at the right moment. I hate to break it to you, but curiosity is in our bones man. It's given us humans a leg up on all other creatures throughout time.4 points

Definitely too dark. The lighting needs to be re-worked. Reminds me of some 70s area arenas.3 points

Great article from Ryne Gannoe, pretty rare from the NT Daily http://wordpress1.cws.unt.edu/?p=3331 In the offseason, Robertson still works out at the Mean Green facilities and watches spring practices when he can make it. Robertson said he wants the Mean Green to have role models. “For our school it’s somebody for these guys to look up to,” Robertson said. “There were some guys who went to the league before I came, but not very many guys went to the league when I was here.”3 points

There is one major difference. Nowhere do you see Monroe and LaTech in the same sentence.3 points

What about some positivity?? We currently have the 5th fastest metric miler (1500m) in the nation! Jo Adams was also the first college runner to finish at the prestigious relays. Jo finish ahead of an all american from this past indoor national championships. Also, to top it off she was only beaten by two professional athletes... None of which was mentioned on meangreensports.com!3 points

C-USA: Welcoming schools from the WAC, Sun Belt, FCS (Old Dominion is considered part of the TV package this year, even though they are a transitioning school)...its a melting pot. FOX Sports is the primary C-USA television partner, with games expected to air on FOX Sports 1 and FSN. I know that FSN isn't in every market, particularly those Old Dominion fans, so keep an eye out on that and hope that most C-USA games air on FOX Sports 1. CBS Sports Network also has a contract with the conference for at least 15 football games. There are also some regional games airing on CSS, Comcast SportsNet Houston and probably some other cable based RSNs in the conference's footprint. If previous seasons are an indicator, some kickoff times will be set before the season starts. CBS Sports Network and the regional partners were usually firm in setting their times in advance, while FOX Sports was more flexible with their Saturday times as they were scheduling games around Big 12 and Pac-12 games. After seeing their press conference, I know why we are so far more advanced than wku- they had to use a microphone for the audience's questions. I have seen so many of our press events w/o a mic I have now developed a 6th-sense on what the question might of been. Way to go rv! Did we have a press conference that was posted on any media other than our MG Sports? If I heard their pres say that they are going " to be a meaningful partner" for the conference. I guess we are, don't we bring the conference home city back into the conference- Dallas? Somebody needs to tell our athletic dept.2 points

The offense is changing per Chico, and if you think Berglund doesn't know the offense (he was here last season) then you must really think he's stupid. We'll see what Derek does in the spring. If he works hard and improves, he could possibly beat out Berglund, and maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing. If Berglund actually does "rest on his laurels", then we'll know by the end of the spring. I just don't get that out of him. Be prepared to be shocked DG.2 points

"Build dorms so that students can live on campus." To me, that reads as, "Compete with the mother institution only about 45 minutes away."2 points

Great article. I never really cared to watch the Browns until this past season, but that has changed because of Robertson. It has been fun watching him grow into such a great player.2 points

Nope...just randomly listed. The "drafting parties" tend to overlook Emmitt's record in Big Games...much like the Cowboys do Romo.1 point
-
1) if this is the actual draft order, I was waaaay overvalued. 2) Does Emmitt slide in the draft based strictly on his record in these games?1 point

I almost hate to say anything less than 100% positive in this thread. Ok, moment over. He could be signed up under yet another screenname and you would never know! No for the real important part...Emmitt has to win this year since he is on my team!1 point
-
Well I am statistically out of it. Even if my bracket pans out and duke wins today "green and stuff" will still beat me by one... Other wise someone who has Louisville or Michigan will win it all.1 point

Marquette can't shoot worth a crap. Wonder where they picked that up?1 point

That is great! Why do you not add more to the boards then? All I read is sarcastic remark after sarcastic remark. Someone once said sarcasm is the protest of weak minded people. A way to cover up knowledge while still seaming knowledgeable. That is all I see on here from a lot of people. Just share what Benford can do better then. How to actually fix the team not just "fire the coach". I do not need a verbal lesson because I do not know everything about basketball and I learn from them when I can. Share your information. That is what these boards should be used for!1 point
-
Florida just buckled down and forced FCGU change the tempo of the game. They ran them off the arc and then just collapsed in when FGCU got it in the paint. Just goes to show any coach and any set of players can go deep as long as they stay focused and pay as one.1 point

I am not "OK" with it, but I do not believe it is the end of the world. Most people are taking this way to far. Saying players (starters like CJ) will leave... no recruits will come... we will win 7 games next year... all of that is laughable. Yes we had a bad year. A lot of teams do, even with great players. It was one year under a new coach with a new system.1 point
-
One year... he has been here one year... he could have not won a single game and I still would have not lost hope. No one who comes on boards like this knows anything about the sport they talk about. They can list stats or talk about past players who played for a university but they have no clue how things actually work. Arizona State playing us will not really affect them. It will affect them if they lose so I am assuming that is what they are afraid off. Beating/ even playing us will really not hurt them at all. To say that it would is true stupidity.1 point
-
I have picked them a lot in the past and they have never been to kind to me. The one year I go away from them and they are on fire.... Indiana's lose did me in I think... If Michigan and Duke lose I have no final 4 teams left.1 point

Of Ohio state lost thisnwouldhave been a really nice day.... Let's go FGCU!1 point

Let a go Arizona! Not because I had thempicked but I love the upsets and it would bust some possible brackets that might beat me...1 point

We have 3 good shooting guards already... Walton, Alzee, and Taylor. At this point I will take another, but the post is what needs to be addressed.1 point

It seems pretty obvious the MWC has the right idea. I don't understand why the A-Whatever and CUSA seem to resist that idea so completely. The A-whatever is esentially the old CUSA but their members swear it is much better and their is no comparison between the two. And the current CUSA is basically the Sunbelt but fans swear it is much better. Every move has shrunk the differences between all three confrences. The idea of "recent FCS move ups" being bad makes no sense as no one looks down on UConn anymore. Once the BIg 5 become the Big 4, a massive realignment should take place at the next level down. The Big 4 are NOT going to break away into their own class as they want to play the rest of us to pad their schedules. I don't understand the extreme resistance to what will be better for all involved in the end.1 point

Good thing I had Florida gul coast going to the sweet sixteen..........1 point
-
Iowa State should have won there... Terrible call. Then you wouldhave had a 6, 9, 10 and 12 seed comingput of the west... That would have been the bracket that busts all brackets.1 point
-
Well I am first going into tomorrow but I still the bracket below me is going to win it. Lousiville is a good team and will probably beat duke and I have one finalfour team already as mentioned above... I still think I will win out tomorrow, but the sweet sixteen games will go in Favor of "top of the key"1 point

Looking back I do think had duke to high as well.... Maybe it is because I am just a coach K. Fan...1 point
