I've had a last minute emergency and won't be able to attend as well unfortunately. I am located in Plano and have two tix in section 208 with a parking pass on the stadium side and they're aisle seats. If anybody wants them please PM and we can coordinate a place nearby my area for pickup. And I won't charge.

Yep, it was Friar. Both Friar and Nunn are big bodied guys. Nunn was the one that dropped a bunch of weight, right? Well, not too much further to go (maybe another 10 to 15 lbs). Big big guys. Will be tough to move them. I would put Nunn about 6'6" and Friar at about 6'7". Both around 240 or so. Yes, I did work at a carnival.

It really sucks tha we're so starved for and unaccustomed to attention that we're willing to set the standards low and settle for "good enough".

Just to clear something up, this was filed under the opinions page which means it's not a news story but an opinion piece. As is Dan Mac's letter to the students. Just trying to help clear up the confusion. The daily, or most papers for that matter would not call this a news story. Just as the editidor in chiefs OPED pieces are just opinions. Usually papers have a disclaimer stating that the ops of the printed individuals are not necessarily the opinions of the paper or the staff. Just saying.

Playing live football would ultimately make you better, particularly if you hadn't played in 2 years. That's my opinion, anyway. Right now, the guy hasn't been on the field since 2010. If the decision was based on the idea that he'd rather be at the school to which he intended to transfer... why not do that in the first place? Keep in mind that Scottsdale had a game on August 25. They won 49-27 and Berglund didn't see the field.

The guy couldn't secure a community college spot. Color me skeptical.

I understand your feelings. I have a question. If everyone is doping, and one guy is tested much more than everyone else, yet tests clean every time (even though the French were clearly out to get him any way they could because they hated that the American kept winning their race year after year), and then, almost 10 years after his retirement, an investigation starts because of what admitted cheaters say and nothing else, do you really think the USADA has no agenda? I would rather they be attempting to catch competitors in the sport NOW. Isn't that what they are suppose to do?
