There's plenty of things I paid for that I didn't use that are non-athletics. How many people are actually going to use the Union that is more expensive than the stadium? Im tired of the athletic bashing culture that exists around this university. It's time to quit making it so easy and comfortable for people to do this. To make matters worse, pegasusnews ran this "article" as well.

I just got an email from "Mean Green Sports" claiming that I could watch the Texas Southern game "live" at 7:00 tomorrow via Mean Green Premium. Which do you think is more plausable: 1. They moved back kick-off by one hour and are not telling anyone else? 2. By 7:00 they meant 7:00 Eastern Time? 3. By "watch live" they meant "watch live with a complimentry one hour delay"? 4. Somebody screwed-up again and we should all blame the AD?

For Pete's sake, I really wish RV/athletic department would do a better job protecting the brand's image. We should of given them more current video or at least signed-off on the promo before they ran it. We need to raise the bar around here! How did I do?

Don't know what else Coach Mac can do, off the playing field that is, to get UNT students involved and into the habit of supporting the team. The guy has been everywhere on campus, been to student events and rallies, written letters, etc., etc. And, he has the team on the track for a winning season and many winning seasons to come. So, let's all hope that is effort is rewarded this weekend with a great turnout of students at Apogee. Let's hope all who come out before the game to party and tailgate also actually make it into Apogee for the game. Crowd noise matters and it makes home field into a home field advantage. He got in to a fight with some dude who was messing with his gf. Brock got the best of the guy so the loser pressed charges. I believe nothing ever came of the charges though. That's why he missed his first year, taking care of legal issues. Charlie Weiss then took over at Kansas and brought in 2 tranfer QBs. Brock tried to leave but Kansas wouldn't let him transfer for quite awhile. KU finally let him transfer and that's when he started looking at NT but couldn't transfer bc of credit issues. You guys have a legitimate shot at the Dance this year and return some great players. I've only gotten to see Tony Mitchell play twice on TV so I'm looking forward to seeing him in person. Actually, I'm not certain whether Buyers qualifies as a true. He spent last year as a walkon before earning his scholarship. Had he been on scholarship I know that he would be considered a redshirt freshman. Can you stay on the scout team for a year or more and still have five years to complete your four years eligibility?

Folks I wouldn't worry about this douche. These types of students exist EVERYWHERE including the UT's and OU's of the world. And no one forces him to anything. He applied to UNT on his own and got accepted and he personally chose to sign the acceptance letter and decided to attend. If he feels this way then more power to him and I am very sorry he feels this way. There might be other alternatives that might suit his needs but he's delusional and trying to fool people into thinking that he is/was forced to do anything.

Current Director Nick Williams is regarded as one of the best marching band directors in the nation.. and if my memory serves me correct.. The Green Brigade gets a good amount of money by selling easier versions of the "mundane" "no showmanship" shows to high schools who in turn use them to compete at UIL.. if the Green Brigade went out there and played quarter notes while shaking their ass so you have something to entertain you while you buy nachos then no high school program would buy the show.. and the GB budget would take a significant financial hit.. something to think about

What University in the US actually has fees listed ala-carte? Does he really think a system like that would work? Exactly like Taxes. They're in place to supplement departments. This guy is a PhD student too! I'll never understand, if someone doesn't care about athletics or it's associated fees, then fine. There's plenty of community colleges and trade schools out there.
