We have a gift in Mitchell, waste scheduling opportunities and we continue to want these home games against quality which we will never get. 10 seed here we come... Disappointed? Without a doubt! Could we have done better? Probably. It is what it is... let's not overlook nor look down at this team, or we'll get our hats handed back to us. They are a Missouri Valley conf team, they can play. No good team would do a 1 and 1 with us and the only way I would do a 1 and done was if it was against a high profile team on national TV. Creighton will be a ~150ish RPI team probably and will be a good test.

This is good scheduling only if NT gets a return game. Should be an excellent game with NT a big underdog there. A victory would really get NT noticed and even a loss probably will raise NT's rpi.

this is so much better than starting off the year with a game against a top 5 Jayhawk team on the road. Creighton is well coached and the whole team is very disciplined. Each of them brings their lunch pail and is a coach on the court.... real students of the game.

I hope these were both 1-for-1's or there is really no point in scheduling them.

TSU is about as close to playing like McNeese as NT is to playing like LSU. Losing to TSU would be much worse than losing to McNeese.

Point guards: CJ is solid on all levels.. He can do it all plain and simple.. PJ is a facilitator .. Unreal ball handler with average shot, a better version of TNo.. Shooting guards- Alzee- shut down defender has been shooting lights out .. TJ- salty lefty that is crafty and can score from perimeter Brandon- Have not seen much of him at REC lately.. Overlander - knock down shooter with a lot better defensive skills than many will think.. SF - Jwill - most improved, dunking constantly and shooting leaps and bounds above what he was at this point last yr - Holmen- very rarely see him there but his beard is sexy (no homo) JP - great rebounder, long and athletic PF - Niko - just being Niko - roger - working his tail off, treats every possession like its his last - Tony- no words describe the talent, his shot looks quicker and more pure.. Defensive wise there is no one close, his ball handling has improved and his passing has been beautiful C - Keith Co - great surprise! Physical and can get up, blocks shots and rebounds, can't shoot but loves to run the floor and loves to dunk! He will be solid! PS- play of the yr occurred yesterday when tony received a mid court pass from PJ and ally oop windmilled on a poor soul.. So dirty , play stopped for 10 plus minutes.. PPS- Ike diogu was there yesterday with a coach who is helping out named coach Allen (they played together at ASU) keith and tony played very well against him and didn't back down at all.. That's against a guy who poured in 20+ against team USA for Nigeria.. All together team looks great! Great chemistry and all of them rave about Benford and how close they are getting to him.. Oh wow........That is a very difficult place to play with their "bird cage""bird nest" w/e they call their student section So this was the last team we were trying to square away, schedule should be released soon. If they get the W, this will be one of the best away wins in recent memories. LSU was nice but they were not a good team nor was it a tough environment
