No... Instead the topic of conversation is scheduling and the zone defense of a team that plays primarily man. Wow. What a slap in the face that is to Johnny Jones. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but getting to the NCAA Tournament from the Sun Belt is much harder than it was to make the New Orleans Bowl in the first four years of the SBC sponsoring football. Johnny Jones actually likes it here and I have never heard him once state that "This is the Toughest Job in America. I should know--I work here EVERYDAY". Johnny Jones probably has about 2 years left here at max, if we make the tournament this year and then next year's team does what it looks like it can do. Then he will cash a big check at a AQ league, which is a bit different from what the Buick got to do at the "height" of his time here. IMO, its not even close...

Because you just witnessed it. Everyone that goes to the game tomorrow should paint a big green L on their foreheads, including JJ, his staff and the players.

How about giving JJ credit for beating UALR in little rock to wrap up the 5 seed. You know, the seed responsible for getting this "lucky" draw. I don't know why people get so locked in to something. Is JJ the greatest x and o's coach in the nation? No. Does JJ bring great talent to UNT and consistently have his teams winning late in the year? You know, when it matters? Yes. You can't argue with a coach that gets his team to 3 tournament finals in a row in this basketball conference. I don't know why people even try.

I don't blame Marlin. I would be pissed, also, if I were the higher seed, yet my team's fans were outnumbered 15 to 1. Maybe he meant that we own the conference tournament attendance numbers.
