Tebow isn't squatting on others property, creating a mess, confronting police, raping, overdosing, or blocking hard working everyday Americans from getting to their jobs, which just happen to be in a bank. A pretty terrible analogy, don't you think?3 points

sorry i didn't see that amigo. you have to be local to see his dummyocy up close and personal to get down on him like us. and i'm not down on him because of humiliation at work amongst uk fans. i'm not one of our board idiots either who 'hates' him over morals issues. he's just a lazy person. i've worked with many like him in my fitty-two years on earth. he's not a bad guy. he comes from a bad coaching tree imo. i never have been impressed by barnes...at all. if he wanted a job where he could do halfassed work and not get fired he shoulda became a union postal worker. or a teacher. western has everything in place to be successful but it still requires hard work. he's not willing to grind. i've doubted him philosophically from the first year but i'm just a goober finger pecking on an hp touchpad (99 dolla) and carry no weight. i have tried to keep some of our board puñetas in line lately but hilltopper haven has no moderators. it's the wild wild west of message boards. here is hoping for a k-mac gone christmas present. woot.2 points

Thanks Doc...Happy Holidays right back at ya! And happy Holidays to all the Mean green nation wherever they may be! Enjoy the season!2 points

this was probably the best we've played all year. louieville is gallaxically (i just made that word up...it implies HUGELY) overrated. they will lose plenty o' games when they have to leave the friendly confines of the 'kfc yum center'. louieville traditionally plays a syracuse-like ooc schedule never leaving home before the new year. it builds up pyrite level rankings. a little backstory. the word around town is that was mcdummy's last game. he sure didn't sound like a dead man walking in the post game show. but i have it from 2 different sources. i refuse to believe it because of my doubting thomas personality. i need to see the holes in the hands before i belee dat. it would be one hella christmas present for the topper faithful. lots of stars aligned for this one. pres. ransdall is out of state for christmas. gives him the excuse he lets his a.d. do his job (not true). within 20 minutes of the game rick bozich did some of ransdall's dirty work for him. he penned an article in the louieville courier journal (state flagship rag) downplaying us doing well. got quotes from the a.d. on declining attendance. bozich and horn were good buddies and can't stand mcdonald. the plan is to send the kids home for christmas and come back monday night. start tuesday off with head asst. ray harper as head coach. if there is one winnable game left on our schedule it has to be the ulm game nedt thursday. like i said....i really hope this happens. maybe ray could turn this ship around.2 points

Going into this season i was convinced my favorite to watch would be J.W. after seeing all the highlight reels. After a dozen games, i can't keep my eyes off Roger whenever he's on the court (mark). After switching systems he seemed a bit lost during the first several games but he now appears to be another leader along with C.J. Nobody comes off the bench with as much intensity as him and I'm praying that his movement away from the ball will become contagious. I've been trying to imagine a past player to relate him to but could only picture a hybrid Shorter/Odufuwa. I would hate to see time taken away from Ked (for nothing more than nostalgia reasons) but Roger does nothing but produce and make good shot selections. He's going to do nothing but get better and I'm thrilled to still have him here next season. Edit: obviously Tony Mitchell is a different story all-together2 points

Maybe so, but I had to work for my first car. Paid half, my parents paid the other half and I paid them back. I was also responsible for insurance, maintenance, gas, etc... I didn't like it at the time, but I appreciate it now.2 points

still a moving number. ECU is desperate to get the last "football only" slot in Big East, as is Temple. however, Nova' dead set against Temple, so ECU might be "last best available", but odds are against them. they have no real sponsor for admittance, but do average 50,000 in attendance.1 point

No doubt a good player but do you realize how many defensive ends that we have already and some are bigger and faster than Struble.1 point

Sorry, ace - for a lot of folks it is not "well duh" - their passion for a trophy overrides their good economic sense!1 point

Could have been an early offer, but I have a feeling our OL commits are full with Rice, Walling and Feldt.1 point

Yeah, I was keeping up a bit with the McDonald situation, even posted about it. I'm not as down on him as you guys are, but I can understand why you'd want him gone nonetheless.1 point

I've got nothing against those that pay their way. You should buy what you want and more power to you! Back on topic, where has Chase Walling stated that he is considering SMU after committing to us?1 point

I've owned both Beamer and Benz. IMO Benz is all status symbol, BMW is far superior when it comes to ride quality. My first car in high school was a Merc., then my first car in college was a Beamer. Shortly thereafter I purchased my first car(with my own money), a Porsche. To each his own Lifer... P.S. There is no substitute for Porsche. No others come close, Fact!1 point

3rd game in 5 days for the guy who hasn't had the luxury of preseason practice or the previous games. No excuses for tonight, but I anticipate him being less lethargic going forward.1 point

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2–3_zone_defense Scroll down to weaknesses of a 2-3 zone. The number one weakness is perimeter shooting. Rebounding is also on the list.1 point

I don't think any of us understand the amount off pressure TM is putting on himself. He wants to do great things here and people are expecting him to walk on water. All that pressure and the fact he hasn't played in nearly 2 years will wear down a body pretty quick. Let's all just be patient and let time work it out. As far as the NBA , TM will have to play a SF at the next level. He has to work on his outside game if we wants to be a lottery pick. I hope that the wrong people don't get in his ear and tell him he ought to go pro. The longer he stays here , the more it will benefit him in the long run1 point

I was so pumped about seeing T-Mitch tonight. He looked completely lethargic and uninterested in being there. He had a couple good hustle plays, but I saw a ton of room for improvement. No hands up on defense was a huge issue. He loafed up and down the court, and he was surprised anytime a teammate with pass him the ball at the top of the key. Jones, #5 was awesome! He needs work and practice. You can't teach the God given athleticism he has, but I sure hope Coach Jones can get his head right. They were selling #13 Nike t-shirts. Let's tap the brakes on busting out the anointing oil. It's obvious that he has the ability to dominate college kids, but does he have the drive, passion, and commitment to put in the work that it will take. I HOPE SO!!1 point

I think Tebowing at Fouts is fine. There's nothing wrong with Jesus or Tebow. Jesus did many good things, and will do many good things in the future. And, Tebow is a pretty good role model for kids these days once you stack him up next to many others out there in the public eye. Tebow away, my young Mean Green friend. Tebow to your heart's content and whatnot.1 point

Maybe we'd all be better off by praying in private like the Gospel recommends and get back to talking football on this site.1 point

I'm sure you are not alone among those who would heap praise upon someone for doing anything other than celebrating a christian faith. If he were espousing atheism or Muslim faith, there would be a thousand articles about how brave he is to do this in that environment, but because it's Christianity, he is derided and made fun of by media and even other players. To me, he IS doing the most courageous thing by showing his Christianity. Funny that people don't see the double standards in today's society.1 point

Im not one to defend Talons right now, and I'm pretty sure Emmitt won't be either, however, in response to your question; The Talons do come to the games. I thought it was the Greeks who weren't showing? As to the photo, Not really sure how it is supporting the university. As for MeanGreenBaby, if you're getting butthurt about this thread and aren't going to the LSU game, then maybe your screenname is accurate. On Tebow, I'm not sure what is with all of the hate. I think alot of it is that people hate him because they are jealous that he has the courage to stand up for his beliefs.1 point

What you don't see in this photo are the 500 Greek students outside the stadium Tebowing with a beer in the other hand. (Some are passed out Tebowing on a couch)1 point
