Maduro, my IZOD collar is up and I will be knocking down some pops with Tony Romo after hours tonight. Think I am in his wedding, I said before jumping out the 14th-floor window. GMG3 points

I don't like using "UNT" as the primary way to brand the university. It's too easy for 'UNT' to get lost in the alphabet soup of acronyms for all the other schools. People that aren't familiar with the school aren't going to know who UNT is. If the UNT "brand" is so strong then why do need to put "University of North Texas" next to UNT on the index page of the main site? We are North Texas!2 points

I really appreciate it. I am looking forward to being a spectator again. I like to think we raised a winner. Her spirit was close to broke, but she's getting the fire back in the spring work-outs. We're bringing her to NY to work out with her trainer for a few weeks. She needs to rub the rust off her ball handle and footwork. Along the same lines, we're also very encouraged by the hires.2 points

Well, since the number one terrorist is now taken care of, they can turn their attention to the number one terrorist/organized crime organization in the world. It only makes sense.2 points

Yeah, he was so concerned about the Iraq war that he voted against the surge that ultimately turned out to bring that conflict to an end, allowing us to further concentrate on Afghanistan. And to this day, and besides being questioned several times during an interview in Egypt by one of his own lib drones, Katy Couric, refuses to admit he was wrong about that vote. Rick2 points

Pls help me stop having to explain to my kids why they never see UNT stuff with all the other Texas colleges stuff @ grocery stores, malls, restaurants, etc. Get our damn stuff out there – or at least load up a car and drive to every restaurant in DFW and give away flags / jerseys to hang up. Can start with Double Daves in Keller and Buffalo wild wings in Arlington (Just got back from lunch there, they had every college in Texas & Oklahoma except for UNT (At least I felt that way). Want to improve PERCEPTION / IMAGE then start with two things: 1) Prove with facts (If possible) that we are NOT a commuter school 2) Get our merchandise out next to the other 4-5 schools people care about around here I’m tired of explaining to my kids that UNT does not have any shirts @ Kroger like the OTHER 4 schools because….mmmmm, well I don’t really know- So the answer is “We are not very good in football”. It’s embarrassing to Alumni to eat @ a restaurant in DFW and not see us represented like the others! I’ll volunteer to drive around and give the stuff away – Man, am I the only one that feels this way?1 point

I've heard it is an overall branding scheme for the university and a push for the athletic department to use "UNT" instead of "North Texas". I think they are going to push hard for the UNT brand and steer away from regional modifiers. I believe they started this talk after fitting the new stadium for a sign. The athletic deparment want the sign to say "North Texas" with a logo. Some officials wanted just "UNT". I think it should say, "University of North Texas", personally. It seems the branding, perception, etc. started and has grown to looking for a branding firm.1 point

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2012_RB : 40 ht and wt are very comparable... he is 18 on this list too... http://www.draftsite.com/nfl/player/lance-dunbar/15461 : this says 4th round number 110, teaming up with Patrick... as a dolphin. On a side note, I have figured out how to copy and paste links on my Android phone... lookout Gmg1 point

they keep saying he's too small, but every year i see rb's drafted that are his size or smaller with what i believe to be similar talent. this year's draft: -kendall hunter, osu, 5-8 197 5th rd -jacquizz rogers, org st, 5-7 191 5th rd -dion lewis, pitt, 5-8 195 5th rd -jordan todman, uconn, 5-9 190 6th rd i don't know their 40 times, but they probably aren't too far off and i put his vision and elusiveness up against any of these guys. i think his ranking will rise and he'll end up getting drafted.1 point

Make that two of us...thrilled is the word. We get a "big body" post and we get a great perimeter player back playing where she should be playing. In this signing it really is like getting two signees!!!! Be still my heart!1 point

It's easily as political as jokes about Ford being clumsy, Clinton being an insatiable poon-hound, George Sr. talking about a thousand points of light or Obama talking in a slow, stilted cadence.1 point

I live in Grand Prairie! I will attend the Grand Prairie event. I attended the event at the Ruth Jackson Center in Grand Prairie a few years back. I would guess about 150 fans came in. Great event! Thanks to Parks and Rec Rick for developing the events in Grand Priarie!1 point

I opened a new facility last October that we needed to be able to show prospective clients during the construction process. This was explained to the construction company during the bid process and reiterated during all of the planning stages. We were able to host "Hard Hat" tours every Saturday from mid-July until opening and by appointment two nights a week during the same time frame. We had every person taking a tour sign a liability release provided by the construction company. This allowed us to properly present and sell our facility to the community and meet our opening goals. This was all done without the C of O. With proper planning this can be done and should be when selling a new product. It allows you to build excitement and allows the customer to see the progress of something they have personally invested in.1 point

Call him fish food. I think we all know what happened. Mr Norris walked in. Someone had the guts to fire a gun. Mr Norris roundhouse kicked the bullet back at them. The single bullet found its way to all targets before stopping in Fish Food's head. This brings up another point. In the move Wanted, the whole curving a bullet theory was based on accounts of Mr Norris' ability to roundhouse a bullet around corners.1 point

Just another typical leftie response. Also, can we go ahead and spell out Bin Laden while discussing him on here? It's only 8 letters and all this OBL business is making CBL rather uncomfortable.1 point

If you're watching the game, keep an eye out for Tampa Bay Buccaneers douche behind home plate. He is all over the ump like a super fan, but is the kind of super fan who can't shell out $20 for a t-shirt to firm his commitment to a team that is one win away from the freakin' World Series. What a douche.-1 points

Sadly, the Lakers and Red Wings were left out. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...47k8ny5Vls& The New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys, two of the strongest brands in sports, have joined Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and CIC Partners to form a food and retail company. Legends Hospitality Management LLC will operate catering, concessions, merchandising and other management services at the new Yankees and Cowboys stadiums that open next year. The Yankees are finishing a $1.3 billion ballpark, while the Cowboys are building a $1.1 billion stadium in Arlington, Texas.-1 points

I've got New England parents and a dad who played football at BC - where he met my mom - but I try to ease up on claiming any of it as much as I used to because liking Boston got so fashionable after 2004. I follow the Bruins as my second hockey Eastern Conference team, but don't feel anything for the other two. I was born after we had moved to Atlanta, so I have a weird Falcons secondary team love as well (and a brother who never stopped liking them and a grandfather who died during the 1998 Super Bowl, making strong associations both ways with them impossible.) So yeah, go Matt Ryan.-1 points

Obviously it isn't rocket science and I have gone with the flow for quite some time. 1. It didn't have to be done with their arbitrary "priority points." 2. They didn't tell us it was based on priority points until very late in the game. 3. They were saying it would be based on a variety of other things. 4. Who cares? It isn't your problem. But it is your problem, because this little stuff is really irritating the people who can/do pay the bills. 6 of the people I brought on board for the club level (new MGC members BTW) already regret their purchase. They are stressed by the unknown of where they will sit and how they won't be assured to be by their pals on gamedays. Unfortunately for them, my family fluid mechanics and dynamics is flowing in a much easier direction with less obstacles and stress. Let this be my farewell to GMG. I am out.-1 points
