you are correct. OBL goes to the pearly gates and was welcomed in and the first person to meet him was George Washington who just beat the crap out of him and a month later OBL is released from the hospital and runs into Thomas Jefferson who just doubles what G.W. did....about three months later OBL is out hobbling around and runs into Robert E. Lee who just kicks the you know what out of him and a year and a half later is released from the hospital. OBL asks Saint Peter what happened to his 70 virgins and St. Peter said there ain't no 70 virgins .... it is 70 Virginians!5 points

If we start living in a world where it's not okay to make fun of Donald Trump, well, I think you know who's already won. If Trump's a real Republican (or politician), then we're all football coaches.3 points

It was first reported as a bomb/missile attack from a Drone, but later reported that it was a US ground operation. Nailed his ass with a slug. Hats off to the Military and the brave men that carred out the operation.3 points

then why label it as a mean green club event and not a north texas fan event? sometimes our own marketing people don't read what they put out and wonder why the poor response from the general public.2 points

Just another typical leftie response. Also, can we go ahead and spell out Bin Laden while discussing him on here? It's only 8 letters and all this OBL business is making CBL rather uncomfortable.2 points

Can you imagine being the Navy Seal that capped CBL? Man, just walk into any restuarant/bar/model convention, walk up to the prettiest girl there (who cares if she is with someone). Simply say "I am the man that killed OBL", grab her by the hand, and away you go!! Best pick up line EVER! Oh, and national pride and all that other stuff, also.1 point

So we should rank ESPN as the least credible college beasketball recruiting website EVER.1 point

DG thinks that's a good idea- as soon as we figure out the correct spelling of the turd's name. Was it "Usama" or "Osama"? "Ben" or "Bin"? "Laden" or "Ladin"?1 point

i feel that if the belt is going to grow as a conference that can compete in athletics as a whole they must establish an athletic budget benchmark. this will weed out the bottom dwellers such as ULM, keep out programs such as NMSU, and allow the conference to add stronger programs such as La. Tech. your thoughts?1 point

glad to hear that he got to eat some hot lead. Unfortunately, someone else will take his place & OBL is just another martyr with 70 virgins. Thanks military for wackin' another head off the snake.1 point

That's how it always goes, and I know what you mean...in the case though, I don't think their legacy will ever be washed away. They were the foundation, and all of the success we will have in the future will be built upon them working their butts off and playing their hearts out for four years. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have the recruiting class we have coming in next year. It is still sad that we won't get to see them playing in the super pit anymore.1 point

Because it raised questions, legitimate questions of his origin. It raised questions that had nothing to do with the color of his skin. Valid questions. ...lots of folks with these questions (myself included) accepted the document that the Hillary camp accepted as proof before the election. Some others didn't as it lacked some details. There is nothing wrong with asking questions of your current or potential leaders. "Do you meet the Constitutional requirement to serve?" is not racist. ...and if you are being dogged why not present every piece of information possible to silence your critics. I know that's how I would have handled it. Really? So because the fact he wouldn't allow the certificates with the details of his birth made some folks ask "why not, what is he hiding?", means all these folks are racist huh? Really? Wow. I wish I had your gift. The ability to look into another's soul and know what is in their hearts and minds. What clarity you must enjoy. McCain wasn't elected President, last time I checked. I DO remember questions about his origins too during the election. Must have been racism. ...oh, wait...1 point

Your question was why would anybody question BHO citizenship in the first place, and your only reason is RACISM? C'mon, there were OTHER reasons the question came up in the first place. Like the fact that as an undergraduate at Occidental College BHO applied for and received financial aid as an international student. Aid that required the recipient be a citizen of a foriegn country. And yes there was a copy of a birth certificate released but Hawaii statute 338 allows foreign born children of Hawaiian residents to obtain Hawaiian birth certificates, and the certificate released by the Obama camp didn't name a location/hospital for the birth. I never took much stock in the 'birther' movement. I always thought is was a non issue and BHO was a natural born citizen of the US, but to say the only reason people questioned it was because of racism is way off base.1 point

I have confirmed All-Conference O line Jason May #64 for the 11th. He is in playing shape so should be a good pick up. He is a 2XL shirt. Jamario hasn't returned my call yet.1 point

i googled NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY ATHLETIC BUDGET and followed the bouncing ball. just using them and LA TECH as examples, which i guess were poor choices. regardless, i would like to see a minimum athletic budget to weed out those who can't afford to support all sports they have. again, just an opinion.1 point

Like to see local good players get a chance - they are just as good as the ones that have been mentioned - lets see who is picked by the staff and see how skills match up - my guess is that who ever we sign they will not have averaged more than 10 points per game and 8 rebounds.1 point

I sure hope so. I'd hate to think that 5 or so years down the road we'll be talking about how they weren't truly "great" or that the Sun Belt they played against was watered down. Sure hope we don't look back and discount them because they never made the top 25...hope we really can be content with the portion of the fan base that they lit a fire in and the legacy that they put in place.0 points

Please no one tell him that it is spelled "annals." Best. Signature. Ever. And yeah, the Mavs are probably 6 or 7 in the West. Also, really interesting tonight to see T-Mac sit in crunch-time while Artest took over.-1 points

Actually, I found two movies about the anals of history: Part 1: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0845953/ Part 2: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0189355/-1 points

#1: We are talking pro sports here; #2: If you are going to change my statements, please note the fact that you have done so. Some may think, based on your post that I actually wrote the part about NCAA football, and #3: If we were talking about college sports, I could probably agree with you on the bowl game thing.-1 points

WOW! What a collapse last evening by the Mavs. I have to say that Jason Kidd losing the ball to a turnover with the Mavs trying to hang on late, sure reminded me of Josh White's late turnover in the SBC Tourney Championship. My bride, who rarely remembers anything like this, was the one to point it out to me...man, she was in the "dog house" all evening after that comment, but it was eerily similar and came at a very crucial time. I simply cannot believe a professional team...any professional team...in the playoffs would blow a 23 point lead like the Mavs did last night. So, question...are the Mavs done? And are they on the verge of another one and done in playoffs? What's up with these guys when the playoffs come around? OUCH! Painful...very painful.-1 points

What does his father's citizenship (or lack thereof) have to do with anything? And what does his residence outside the country AFTER HE WAS BORN IN AMERICA have to do with anything. Two years ago he produced a legal document from the state of Hawaii. The only document that Hawaii would have given anyone under the same circumstances. And a document that could not have been legally produced without there being an original in their OFFICIAL FILES. This is how Hawaii handles things and the rest of the county (except for Republicans with an agenda)accepts it. Again, this would have been an easy way for Hillary to dispose of her most formidable opponent. But she couldn't, BECAUSE THE DOCUMENT WAS LEGAL. Only a racist would choose to believe otherwise. And BTW, no comment about the McCain article? Hmmmmm.-1 points

I blame his scary terrorist sounding name. Wait... that's still racist!-1 points

It seems to me that the Longhorns and the Aggies should work on being equitable then with the rest of the Big XII-II to have an equal payout. Since Iowa State and Baylor are have-nots, they can be "carried by Texas, OU, and A&M" to survive by sharing equally in conference TV revenue, right? I mean that's only fair. In reality, with anything, $$$ drives the bus. If the SBC or UNT feels that someone isn't carrying the load and should be replaced, more power to them. When Texas was going to leave to go to the Pac-10, it didn't seem like the Kansas schools, Iowa State, Mizzou or Baylor were really that high on UTs agenda for "bolting without the drain". Those aforementioned schools are in a conference with Texas, OU, and A&M for one reason and one reason only--they all agreed to less money and power. The funniest part in all of this is how a school like Tech so unabashedly basked in the glow of being a tick on Texas' body. I guess it pays well to have friends in high places. Its something UNT, ULM, or anyone else in the SBC wouldn't know a thing about.-1 points

It must be true, it's on the internet:-) My bad. Like I said I never bought the birther arguement anyway but my point was there WERE questions that BHO appeared to be dodging. That's not racism. In the end BHO is and always has been elligible to be President, a very, very bad President.-1 points

While its always about money (money talks) this conference is going to get better because programs are tired of getting their asses handed to them by opponents they believe are in the same class. This upgrade by UNT of its coaching staff is going to motivate the ULM boosters/alumni to step up; maybe next year or the one after. Makes you kinda wonder if hiring Dodge for cheap was a plan. If he wins; you're a genius; if he loses, it was a worthwhile experiment, but now we gotta go get some real talent. Losing to programs like Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky should piss you right off. We'll see, but this hiring of this coaching staff is how you get better. Kids are fired up; they say we're gonna be good. Doesn't really matter if they are; they think they are.-1 points

No, the Dodge hire was not some master plan to low ball the rest of the conference. 1. We had to raise our pay scale to get Dodge. 2. Nice try, trying to spin the worst coaching era in school history.-1 points
