Yes "I" will be there. And I am saying this without a rude tone. As co-captain of the cheer team I plan on attending. Also, I claim credit for two sponsors as one is my place of employment and one is my dad's business.6 points

Republicans are better: We like to let the market dictate policies and protect conservative values. Democrats are better: We like to protect against economic imbalance and progress new social ideologies. Oh Really? Really! Stop looking at me GMG.com.4 points

Would that be Austin Landscape Gardens? If so, I talked with your dad...nice guy! Thanks for the good work with the sponsors. You definitely get the "we" on this one and a +1 from me as well...will look forward to seeing you Saturday. This is going to be a lot of fun.1 point

Dale Hanson, of Ch 8, tonight said SMU is playin in "something called the CIT and with 68 teams in the NCAA and 32 in the NIT that means if they win they can claim to be 101".1 point

Not terribly concerned if the seats are installed or not, but are they going to make us pick our seats without actually walking around inside the stadium first? The virtual thing is great, but it's not the real thing.1 point

Absolutely...just PM me with the max. and I'll handle the bidding for you. I know what you mean about soccer duties...I have two games to referee before the basketball game that morning. I had to limit my schedule to two from the usual three each Saturday to be ready for the BB game in time. You go SOCCER MOM! All soccer moms rock. It isn't easy arranging multiple kids' schedules and the like. Send me your did in a PM and I'll take care of it. Thanks.1 point

My ex-roommate's little brother plays for Jacksonville and had the phantom foul called on his spectacular block at the end of SMU's last game. If you watch the video it was a disgraceful call that gave SMU the win there.1 point

SMU still does, and will always suck and lacks the balls to play us in basketball, so who gives a crap about what they do or who they play. They're just another allegation away from probation anyway, and nobody outside of their little pocket of Dallas cares about the program. HoopManX, do you think we care? I've been on vacation and have heard nothing, not one drop of news regarding these spare tournaments, much less who is playing in them. The expense is just not justified. Losing 20 grand to play in a game nobody watches, that garners zero media coverage outside of the Park City News and the Pony Glue Factory is a waste.1 point

Where did you find the stats on each of those categories? I would love to check it out. Thanks in advance.1 point

If we have a supposed "liberal media", 1/5th of America wouldn't think that Obama is a Muslim. If we have a liberal media then 50% of Americans (last I checked) wouldn't think that Saddam was involved in the 9/11 attacks.1 point

Since we already have two tough road games let's try to just schedule a couple MAC or C-USA teams for our home slate.1 point

http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/03/18/2932654/bunk-in-bulk.html My favorite segment. Mad and Misinformed The problem is that people are so angry - but for all of the wrong reasons. One e-mail I've received over and over again is a spreadsheet that purports to show how badly things are going under President Obama. The first column shows that the price of gasoline was $1.83 in January of 2009 and as of the date of the spreadsheet it was $3.10, a rise of 69.6 percent. The next shows West Texas Intermediate selling for $38.74 when Obama took office (it would fall to $33 a few weeks later), and on the day the spreadsheet was done it was $91.35 -- or a 135.9 percent increase. The columns seem endless. My problem with that spreadsheet is that if you did one on the presidency of George W. Bush, it too would show disheartening percentages. For example, the price of oil at his inauguration was around $18, but rose to $147 a barrel within a few years. That's a 716.6 percent increase; and gasoline went from $1.55 a gallon to $4.12, up 258.7 percent. Of course the parts of the spreadsheet that show more unemployment and less income actually began before Obama moved into the White House, but the numbers fell into his first two months in office. I am not defending Obama, nor am I indicting Bush. I'm merely pointing out that these things have been out of control no matter who nominally controlled the White House or the Congress. But, because people want to make them political issues instead of recognizing that they are economic, they cannot be resolved. We can't have an adult conversation on fixing problems because the national discussion sounds more like a bunch of angry 6th-graders calling each other names.0 points

What's this "we"? You have a mouse in your pocket or something? Are you planning on attending to watch the action? Hope so. If so, I'll give you the "we" and tell you there is definitely going to be "celebrity" refs...Josh White, Shannon Shorter and Raquel Cuffie. That's UNT Celebrity in my book.0 points

It's been a really fun tournament so far, tons of close games etc. THe two games at Moody certainly didn't benefit from Spring Break, but I think next years numbers will jump some. Not just playing in this tourney, but having the kind of games we've been having, helps moving forward. Going to Northern Iowa is going to be fun, and is a decent CUSA/MVC match-up. No one is claiming it to be what it's not, but it's late March and my team is playing OOC games, I'd have loved to see during the year. No real financial loss, build some momentum w/a very good roster next year. It's win/win for everyone0 points

Exactly. The guy is clearly getting a pass because he is a Kenyan Muslim without a birth certificate with terrorist sympathies who hates America and all she stands for and is covertly trying to form a Socialist Caliphate so he can proclaim himself Prophet. Those effers get away with everything-1 points
