There will be a WATCH PARTY sponsored by the Denton Chapter of the UNT Alumni Association beginning at 2:00PM at Fox and Hounds in Lewisville this Saturday-Feb. 12th The watch Party is open to all UNT Alumni, friends and family and any other UNT fan who might like to attend. There is no admission charge. Beginning at 2PM there will be a short presentation reviewing the new UNT Alumni Pavilion being build in coordination with the new football stadium. The it will be on to the Western Kentucky game where we help cheer the Mean green on toward a rare road win. Should be a great time, and the nice folks at Fox and Hounds have offered us a bigger room for our event as it seems we have outgrown the room we have used the last couple of times. I hated UTSA even before they even thought about playing a down of football.

Might develop into a good slot receiver? When I watched a couple of fall practices, the two WR's that really jumped out at me were Brelan Chancellor and Chris Bynes. I had an opportunity to talk with the WR coach and I remember telling him that it was going to be very hard for them to RS Brelan Chancellor......he's just too good. Turns out ol' SilverEagle was right. Might develop into a good slot receiver? Holy smokes, what an understatement. And considering the lineup of QB's that will be competing this spring/fall, they should give Chase Baine another look at playing WR.

I am beginning to sense a trend with our NCAA's appeals and it should be directly thrown at the feet of RV and his administration. I am guessing Ford and others like the article said did not hey a RS because they already used their one year, I do however think they can request a 6th year after 2011 season???

My thought is if they were eligible and did not get a medical redshirt we should turn our ire towards the athletic department and not the NCAA. I don't know about the rest of you but I see a trend developing and conspiracy theories are for the weak minded.

We already had a quarterback as small as Tate Forcier and he transferred to McNeese State. Dan McCarney has (thankfully) signed us some big boy quarterbacks to see over the line of scrimmage. Let Tate take his act to FCS or Division II like his big brother did. He and our former quarterback can face off on some distant FCS battlefield shared with a local high school.

As I understand it, last year the defensive tackles were mostly gap-fillers. This year they will have different rush schemes in part to allow for blitzes. We have some decent defensive ends and I hope that they will be used effectively.

It really looks like the lb's we signed today have some speed and are accomplished athletics. Some of them were being recruited by the mountain west conference so..... this is a way to "beat them" and gain some of their interest. Now that we trust Dan & Chico, I really am looking forward to see what can happen with these athlete's on the def side of the ball.Then maybe, we will get more interest from other conferences (CUSA)& more importantly win some games in September. Secondarly, we will see immediate gains lot's faster with Dan's coaches out there recruiting for next year's crop too. This summer will be fun to see some movement concerning recruits & in commitments (hopefully) based entirely on what they did in such shore time this winter. What do u think? GMG

If you really think those two are parallel, we are in trouble. There is quite a difference between a self-employed doctor refusing to kill a child, and an employee demanding that his employers direct their business around a foreign law code. If a Muslim supermarket owner doesn't want to sell bacon, he has every right not to sell bacon. I'm a big UT fan - certainly not a hater like some on here, but their truck is horrible. I'm surprised you can't see a partially painted-over "Big Al's Moving" down the side. All of the other Big 12 ones are great except for Missouri which is kinda' plain. Nebraska's even got a painted helicopter!
