The Troy game will be huge, but I like all of our matchups thus far in the tourney. The La-Mo game was a scary one, but im glad we played the way we did, and got the sloppy play out of the way early in the tourney. The boys have their confidence and our beloved coach knows what needs to be played on the court to beat Troy. We could see our ourselves as repeat Sun Belt Champs. Go Mean Green. really glad we play Troy, instead of WKU. We beat them earlier in the season and they really think they are the number #1 seed, please.

Were all so very proud of your season and success in the tourney. Just one more game and you will come back home as Champions and finally get the nationally attention you guys really deserve.

I was thinking about this last night. The one thing the 2007 team had going during the tournament was hot 3-point shooting from Calvin W. & a hot big man in KDub. The other guys were playing well, but I think these 2 guys carried them. The 2009 team is more "balanced" and more athletic when compared to the '07 Tourney team, IMO. However, I still think that 2007 team at it's hottest during the Toruney could beat the current team......

I've notified friends & family already. I hope they give 2 $hit$ enough to watch!!

Back in the early 90's, I was in charge of the Fouts Field press box for a Class 3A playoff game between Southlake Carrol and Frisco High. JJT was a lowly stringer (freelance writer) covering HS Football for the DMN. He showed up and demanded a front row seat, moving the writers from the Frisco, Southlake and Grapevine papers (the local beat writers). When I informed him that he was not in charge of the press box, he went into a rant about being with the Morning News and making a complete ass out of himself. I told him to take a seat in the back row and shut the F Up. His girlfriend was with him and I threw her out because she wasn't working press. JJT wrote a letter to the SID complaining about his treatment. I told the SID about how he acted and he wrote back basically telling JJT to go F himself. Taylor has always been a pompus ass, who couldn't write his way out of a paper bag. The only reason he still is at the DMN is his knees are dirty. All of the talented writers are at ESPNDallas.com, or are making a 6 figure salary, which is a lot more the Jean-Jaques' Fat ASS!!!

I didn't notice they ran zone that much. But I'm sure Denver's lack of athletecism enabled NT to stick with it. When NT started pressing in man, Denver was just overwhelmed.

Hopefully we have alot of fans make the trip up. Troy sure as hell doesn't seem to have alot of fans there - we could really have a nice homecourt advantage(not that it helped WKU)

Nice win. Still started slow again and Denver almost put us to sleep in the second half and came back, but we woke up in time to take control. Ch. 8 sports in DFW showed nice highlights of the game and final score, mentioned the winner tomorrow night goes to the NCAA Tourney!!

This game is of biblical magnitude folks: 2nd Ephesians 10:25 "For the Lord hath ordained that if UNT shalt lose to Troy on the 9th of March, 2010, armageddon shall commenceth." Let's go Mean Green! The whole world is relying on you!

I was shocked to hear alot of people didnt even know UNT made it to the Conference Finals and I live in Denton.... Johnny Jones is letting his boys loose tommorrow night on the big stage. Please Please Please, tell all of your relatives, coworkers, classmates, your mistress, neighbors, and other alumni about this game and the time and channel to follow the game. ESPN 2, 6p.m Central time. UNT v. Troy, winner gets the automated bid to the Big Dance. Its been a while since we have been on the national stage and let's show off what we have to offer at North Texas, its been a rough few years, but this feels so good and others should know about our recent success, let others be know and be aware of what is being accomplished. Send emails, text messages, facebook status, and also phone calls. Its up to us to let others know. It will be a very good game for others to see UNT at its best.... Also if anyone has the connections, Please let UNT send a campus wide email and text message to all students about game time info.
