My Kool-aid runneth over.....Loved it, loved it, loved it....

Tobe keep tweeting...

Line keep smashing the guy in front of you's face...

A few dumb mistakes but a team ready to show up and play some darn football...

Who's ready for the Home Opener Now!

There is NOTHING sweeter than my school pulling an upset on National TV. Congrats to the team and coaches. Nice job, well done.

There's nothing here not to be proud of or encouraged by. What a tremendous game.

We beat a solid team on the road. A solid team that played a solid game. Defense held up amazingly well against an offense that had a lot of talent and made few mistakes. Offense executed, exceptional on the ground and very respectable through the air.

This was a good performance against a good team that played a good game.

And the best part is that we can improve on this game's performance. We didn't need to generate a lot of turnovers, but we showed we can be aggressive and do it when necessary. We got good pressure, but we can do even better with sacks as the line grows together. Because of how well the O-line and the running backs played, we didn't have to rely on passing... So we can hopefully grow a lot there, too.

If this team can just repeat this sort of effort, intensity, passion, and execution all season long... We're going to be winners THIS YEAR. And when you consider that the talent on this team has the potential to do EVEN MORE... What a dramatic swing of optimism this sort of performance can generate.

Very, very impressed and very, very optimistic about what this team is capable of doing immediately.

Isn't this such a better feeling than the kick in the balls from last years opener!?

Man. Such a difference.

Great job team. Way to win this one for all of us...

Yes. My balls very much appreciate it :D

This year I skipped going to the home opener. Normally I do it... but KSU was so bad. The drive back was miserable. Although I did get to meet the one and only TTG and his brother.

Sorry TTG, our meeting wasn't worth it.

No gloom and doom on this one. They answered every time it was needed. Great game, offense, defense, special teams and coaching staff. With everything else so positive did anyone notice how good our freshman punter was? Also a lot of kicks into the end zone. Would have liked to seen a sack but the defensive line played great for the most part as did the offensive line. I don't think there is a better back in the Belt than Cam. Jamaal (I think) Jackson is as fast as advertised. Royce Hill and Smith look very solid in the defensive backfield. Those consistent critics of Riley are gong have to be silent for a while, hopefully for four years.

I am not naive enough to start making New Orleans reservations just yet, but this was a great start to the season. Also kudos to RV for scheduling an opening game against someone other than a top ten team.

Absolutely GREAT game. Aside from the few penalties, this team looked 100% better. They excuted the offense, they held on defense, forced several punts, controlled the ball. This is the kind of football we have been waiting for. And on top of all of that, they looked confident. You could tell they believed they were going to win. This could be a great season. I think this is the first time since I have been following the program we have been 1-0. Im stoked baby!!!

We skipped Ball State in favor of going to Alabama, because we wanted to enjoy the environment more than we figured we'd enjoy Muncie.

I wish we'd been able to do both this year.

I, too, shall be Alabama bound.

Looks like I'll at least have something fun to follow before basketball season. The last few seasons have been like a constant kick to the gut till the beginning of November.

Fantastic win by Dodge and company. Still holding to my 4 win prediction, but would love to be wrong(on the low side obviously).

I'm in my last year here at North Texas and I've followed Mean Green football every year since 2005. I have to say, without a doubt, that's the best I've ever seen them look in all my years here. I kept saying to my friends "is this really UNT?? We are legit!" It was great watching it at the Pourhouse, awesome atmosphere. Riley was a beast along with Cam and Craig. I'm not getting my hopes up too much but there is some renewed pride after this game. Can't wait for next week! GMG!
