T.D. told me that my NT hat (the one from lids) was sharp. Emmitt also had the same hat on at the cookout.

So, this might be a dumb question... but here goes... are the arm bands a part of the uniform? Or are they optional?

"Mean Green" is on the front of the helmet... staring our opponents right in the eyes.

One other thing... Rick V said "No longer will we schedule road games to collect a paycheck." He then went on to talk about how expectations are higher.

I wasn't there, but I wonder if he meant, "we will still schedule big time OOC games, but now we can win some of those." I can't imagine RV lowering the caliber of opponents now that TD is here.

Yes, that was the gist of his comment. We "should expect to go 12-0".

God knows the wait for the food was pretty long! I would guesstimate in the 800-1000 range. Lots of people were hanging out down in the tents.

Good seeing all the Mean Green Peeps. Fun was had by all. New Unis look GRAND! Coach Dodge is very gracious. I must say the luggage tote at the $1000 Mean Green Club level is the best premium EVER!

Good to see everyone. Wow, what a crowd.

Things for Rick V and staff to work on for next year...but, it's nice get our tix, gifts, and exchanging Mean Green Greetings!

I also want to add that I was impressed that Dodge, Rick V, and Dr. B mingled and talked with fans before and after they spoke.

Dr. B and Rick V seemed to talk a lot with the upper level donors and Dodge talked to a lot of the younger folks... and THAT'S exactly how it should be. That is how you build a program beyond everyone's expectations.

Rick V mentioned that there will be a big article in ESPN Magazine, so be on the lookout for that.

Dodge said we need to pack that stadium, and that the forst team meeting is tomorrow with practices starting Monday afternoon. Dr. B made a gesture towards the planned site of the new stadium and made a vague comment about "future facilities".

Can't wait! Four weeks and counting!
