I will be working with recruiting and social media specific to the football program. There are some minor inaccuracies from the article that was linked in your blog, so the attachment should clear things up.

Always interested in having a dialogue about the Mean Green, so we'll be reading you here, on Twitter, and Facebook.

Let's get excited about UNT football and fill "the nest" against the Vandals!

True, but he was coaching at a high school and a community college before taking a job with us.

Welcome. How many times can coaches communicate with recruits via social media?

Thank you.

Like many NCAA Bylaws, there are variables but, rest assured, the social and digital media footprint of UNT Football will increase dramatically in the next few weeks.

Well whatever the reason, for what seems to be a step up in caliber of player who've recently committed, lets keep 'em coming. It's time for North Texas to be known for its football, along with its other great sports and academic programs. Go Mean Green ! Edited by filmerj

Had to post on this again. This is just such a huge step for NT. Programs like Alabama seriously have departments of 20+ people to handle recruiting/social media.

You would hope this would be an area that the University could support through internships/independent studies programs

I think we are all excited to see that we have hired a guy of this quality to focus in this important area!

Welcome aboard, Coach.

BTW, you have already accomplished the seemingly impossible...creating a thread where even the usual suspects have to be positive, happy and excited about something Mean Green. Keep this up and you will be a Mean Green Hall of Famer in no time at all. :-)

Super excited to have you on board. Welcome to the Mean Green Nation!
