We Did IT! Student Section is Full

So uh gets allotted 2000, right? Which means alumni, and spill over from uh fans and students need to account for the other 21k....can we do it? Not a smu "sellout", but an actual see no empty sections of seats sellout. This better happen.

I think Houston requested and received more tickets. They will not be bringing their band.

Just a quick question since I'm no longer a student and don't have the knowledge. Is a student with a student ticket required to show ID at the gate or could a student get his "student ticket" and scalp it to a UH fan for 100% profit?

Not trying to be a negative Nancy, just wondered if this situation had been considered. I know at old Fouts they didn't want to let me in for my first game because my ID didn't want to scan even though it was clearly me and clearly a UNT Student ID.

Tonight I talked a friend into buying 6 tickets and tailgating with my group tomorrow. The Wing Zone was all Ticketmaster had available.

This is a great time to be part of the Mean Green Nation. I think Houston will be shocked at the size of our crowd, and will remember it next time they play at SMU.

Was on campus today. Lots of signs about the game, lots of Mean Green gear being worn by everyone. Stopped by Apogee Stadium to walk around and students were lined up at the ticket office picking up their tickets and they kept coming and coming. Should be a great day.

Totally agree. Ponyfans poster says they want us to go back to FCS and are wishing us the worst for tom. Nonsense. Win or lose tomorrow, we are growing. If anything, they should be worried.

They see TCU with their progress on the field and with their stadium. They see UNT with its new stadium and huge alumni base. They see SMU being knocked around by A&M, easily, after all summer they were talking about going into College Station and winning.

i can't freaking wait until tomorrow morning... no chance i fall asleep tonight without the aid of an adult beverage

my tailgate is sitting on the living room floor waiting to be loaded in the truck.

Voertmans was really busy today selling UNT gear. Good feeling seeing so many students buying up shirts and mean green gear. I did some work on their new nike inventory too. Seemed like a lot of people participated in Friday Pride Day on campus.

Got 6 coming with tomorrow. GMG.
