Rivals lists interest in/from 7 schools, most BCS. No confirmed offers (June 2011)

16th ranked prospect from DFW in the class of 2012 by Metroplex Hoops.

January 3rd 2011 article: “I think I’m a heady scoring guard that can play either the one or the two. I like an up tempo game which allows me to create and make plays, especially popping that open jumper.”

He's a FREQUENT user of Twitter. Remember: DO NOT COMMUNICATE with potential recruits! But, anyone who follows may be able to update on his comments pro/con on potential destinations. A quick scan suggests that Pye probably has much better spelling skills and critical judgment than Jarion Henry.

Could be a Rivals screwup...but tonight on Rivals...they don't have him as committed to us. Only Clark Overlander.

We kinda got sidetracked about this under the Neim Stevenson profile. Must be a rivals error , as of wed evening he said he was still coming to Denton

Texas Hoops has him with a High interest in North Texas but it no longer shows him committed. He is showing None for other interest.

He is ranked #68.

Plan on seeing Timberview, and others. in a 1 day tournament tomorrow @ Flower Mound HS. Maybe I'll get an update from the horses mouth.

Vito didn't mention Pye in his blog tonight as being part of the recruiting class...

UNT needs a couple of big men in its class to go along with Clark Overlander.

Hmm...I don't consider Clark Overlander a big man at 6'5"...Plus, Vito said "A couple of big men"...If Pye is committed we have a maximum of 1 scholarship remaining. :ph34r:

I've seen anywhere from 6'3-6'5, definitely not 6'8 unless he just hit a growth spurt.
