Time to shock Cajun Country and the rest of the nation.

I really hope we hear about Reggie Peagram and Darius Terrel hardship waivers soon.

I would love to shock Cajun nation..... but just in case I may need to stock up extra beer.... for either result. We did pretty well against Alabama a couple of seasons ago on TV... well until halftime.... then things went sorta South. [ a lot of other teams did worse against them ] LSU will be ranked very high...

I plan to organize one in Collin County for those up that way... I'm thinking either Rudy's in Allen or Buffalo Wild Wings in McKinney.

Update: just booked Rudy's in Allen for the Collin County watching party on 9/1. They'll give us the same Mean Green drink specials they gave us last year.

Considering the reputation of the LSU crowds, I fear for the safety of our fans who attend the game if we win.

Seems that is what Michigan fans were saying a few years ago when ole Appalachian State and Jerry Moore rolled into town.

I went in 2008. The fans were nothing but nice.

Of course, I'm sure they don't consider us a threat...

I've been on the winning side of a Super Regional at LSU. I wouldn't worry about the safety of the fans, but the team buses are fair game. They damn near overturned it.

When it comes to fandom, I don't think LSU baseball is the same fruit as LSU football.

turns out I'm going to be driving through Tennessee/Kentucky that evening... so I'll be the game in the midwest bar decked out in Mean Green gear, demanding that the bar keep the channel on ESPNU, 'I DON'T CARE HOW BADLY LSU IS BEING BEATEN! THIS GAME IS IMPORTANT TO ME DAMMIT!'
