UNT landed a quarterback, likely the first of two for the 2013 Class, this morning when Austin Connally product DaJon Williams committed to play for the Mean Green.

The 6-3, 180-pound dual-threat quarterback picked UNT over Louisiana Tech and Montana.

He was a second-team All-district 16-4A selection as a junior.

Williams attended UNT’s Junior Camp in Denton and later participated in the team’s satellite camp in Round Rock.

UNT’s coaches made it clear to Williams that they needed to add multiple quarterbacks in their 2013 class.
